Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock All work of rock cutting by blastingshall be carried out by taking all necesary precautions against soil erosion,damages to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) All earth work in cutting /excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines,grades,sides slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirement of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section. 300 & 1600 to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for constrcution at suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its levelling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account, filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding.The recovery for stones, whether usefule or not for 3211.10 cum. (Thrre Thousand Two Hundred eleven point one Zero Cubic Metre) in all cases, @ Rupees 300/= only (Rupees three Hundred) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated PCC M-10 design miox with minimum cement contents not less than 250 kg (two hundred fifty kilogram) per cubic metre (1:3:6 Nominal mix)with 20mm(twenty millimeter) nominal size for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and MoRD technical specification section 800, 900, 1200 and 1600 and curing complete including the cost ofform work and hauling of materail in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfication and direction of Engineer in charge.The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm (four millimetre) dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm (one hundred millimetre into one hundred millimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 % (ten percent) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 40 kg (forty kilogram) each as per drawing and MORD technical specifications section 1300 including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidental.
