Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth, for foundations etc or manholes, cesspits, pipes and cables etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing wheredirected at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers of soft / loose soil not exceeding 25cm thick all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Note for DI Fittings :-The weight of the fittings for the purpose of payment shall be actual weight of the fittings or as specified in IS code whichever is less.

M & L for Burning out lead joint in position, including removing old lead for 150mm bore of pipes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for servicing of sluice valve cast iron body by greasing /oiling using necessary tools and plants as required as per manufacturer instructions and proving gland rope of superior quality and rubber gasket/ packing where necessary to stop any leakage of sluice valve of size 80 mm dia to 250 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for repair of leakage/blockage of water supply distribution lines 20 mmdia GI tubing by carryout necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning filling , removing, de watering as required, tightening of loose joints including, fixing of minor items i;e union sockets,nipple, elbow etc as required, threading jointing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge. Note : Earth work will be measured & paid seperately.

M&L disconnecting/dismantling and strip opening of worn out/defective Centrifugal pump of capacity 5 HP/ 7.5 H mono block type, taking out unserviceable bush, sleeve & sleeve joint etc repair to Impeller & shaft with proper brass brazing welding & lath work, assembling, testing, installing and connected at original location complete all as per specified and directed with entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note - Defect liability for motor and pump shall be one year from the date of Repair.

Cleaning of Raw water jack well of capacity 20000 Gallons at Filteration plant manually by traind and skilled manpower of working in under ground sump/reservior with suitable T&P and safty equipments, Tools and safty measures. Draining out the contaminated muddy water from the bottem surface of reservior and cleaning the side walls with the help of wire brush including removal green fungs leaves and other dust and dirt ,scraping of dissolved impurities, removal of surface mud /silt ,cleaning with water and draining out complete unwanted meterial obtained from cleaning complete all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of inner surface of over head reservior 50,000 Gallons capacity manually by trained and skilled manpower for working in over head reservoir with suitable T&P and safety equipment, tools and safety measures. Darining out the contaminted muddy water from the bottom surface of the over head reservoir, scraping inner surface with the help or wire brush, incliding removal green fungs leaves and other dust and dirt, of dissolved impurties, removal of surface mud/ silt, cleaning with water and draining out complete unwanted material obtained form cleaning as well as apply spray of suitable approved disinfactant chemical safe for human being on inner surface and complete outer surface structure with and two coats spray painting with water proofing paint on inner wall of the tank,and writing the date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of inner surface of over head reservior 1,00,000 Gallons capacity manually by trained and skilled manpower for working in over head reservoir with suitable T&P and safety equipment, tools and safety measures. Darining out the contaminted muddy water from the bottom surface of the over head reservoir, scraping inner surface with the help or wire brush, incliding removal green fungs leaves and other dust and dirt, of dissolved impurties, removal of surface mud/ silt, cleaning with water and draining out complete unwanted material obtained form cleaning as well as apply spray of suitable approved disinfactant chemical safe for human being on inner surface and complete outer surface structure with two coats spray painting with water proofing paint on inner wall of the tank,and writing the date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning the clarifloculator Semi UG sump of diameter; 14.5 meter and depth not exceeding 7.5 meter by removing mud, sediments manually by trained and skilled manpower who working in UG sumps/ reservoir with safety messures, including scraping the inner surface by wire brush, brooms and removing the mud, green fungs, leaves, dust and dirts, draining out complete unwanted materials obtained from cleanning and two coats spray painting with sky colour water proofing paint on Inner surface of wall and two coats samocem on outer surface and writting the date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.complete all as specified and directed.

Dewatering the stagnated polluted water from 30 lakh gallons capacity raw water tank of size 140 m x 140 m x 4.5 mtr( Note depth not more than 4.5 meter) by pumping out using diesel engine operating pumping set or electricity operated pumping set and draining out the polluted water liquid mud water to distance not exc 100 mtr away from the edge of the tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- Dewatering shall be carried out by pumping system using diesel operated engine pumping set or electrically operated pumping set at the discretion of the contractor . In case the pumping is done by using electrically operated pumping set then electricity shall be supplied by the MES and shall be charged at rates indicated in Special Condition No. 21. Approx qty of dewatering is 4000 Cum.

Desilting of Raw Water tank manually including bailing out mud/sludge by pumps/ manually without damaging bottom lining of tank complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge. Note :- Only Manual bailing out is allowed. Motorized equipment or vehicle is not allowed into raw water tank for desilting, contractor should qoute rates accordingly. Approx quantity of Silt/sludge is 1800 Cum.

M&L for cleaning/removal of algee, Green vegetation and other trash accumulated on Raw Water storage tank of 30 LGN capacity by means of labour , boat and all other necceessary instruments required for cleaning and waste material through away distance not exeding 50 meter form the storage tank complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Taking down cement plaster from brick/ concrete walls incl raking out joints , hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Rendering 15 mm thick in CM(1:4) on fair or other than fair faces of brick concrete walls, surface finished even and smooth w/o using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Demolition of brick work any description built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M & L brick work in cement mortar (1:6) all as specified using sub class ' B' old size brick straight or curved on plan exc 6 m means radius complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dewatering the stagnated polluted water from 50 lakh gallons capacity raw water tank of size 140 m x 140 m x 4.5 mt r( Note depth not more than 4.5 meter) by pumping out using diesel engine operating pumping set or electricity operated pumping set and draining out the polluted water liquid mud water to distance not exc 100 mtr away from the edge of the tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- Dewatering shall be carried out by pumping system using diesel operated engine pumping set or electrically operated pumping set at the discretion of the contractor . Testing of water with collecting samples of desired places for every 30 days and producing the samples at govt testing labs by chemical & biological methods and collecting the reports of the same all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for removing Beehives of any nos, size and at upto height of 22 mtrs with all safety gear while removing hives with precautions at height and ladders required for climbing will carry, all as directed by engr-incharge.

M& L for installing and commissioning of MPCB (Motor protection circuit breaker ) of capacity 25 -40 Amps suitable for DIN channel and base mounting both complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
