EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY Supplying,design, loading, unloading, installing, testing and commissioning of Transformer 250 KVA step down, outdoor type, double wound copper, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz AC, oil immersed, natural air cooled with external cooling tubes having no load voltage ratio 11/0.433 KV (corresponding to principal tapping) winding delta connected on primary side (HV side) and star connected on secondary side (LV side) in accordance with vector symbol Dyn-11 (vector group-11) with natural brought out on LV side for earthing and having tapping on HV side for constant output so as to alter/vary secondary voltage by ± 7.5% in steps of 2.5% to be changed by means of manually operated "off load" taps changing gear. The limit of temperature rise after continuous full load run as specified in IS-1180 Part-1 (2b) shall be suitably adjusted to suit the maximum ambient tempearture of 48 degree Centigrade in HV/LV windings and 40 degree centigrade in oil as prevailing at site. The transformer shall confirm IS : 1180 and latest relavent IS and ECBC marked and shall comprise of the following :-

Supply and fix Outdoor automatic power factor correction (APFC panel) factory made of 125 KVAR capacity ready to use, design conforming to IS: 8623 rated for short circuit rating of 50KA, front openable and lockable by keys having louvers and air vent, gasket and totally vermin proof and suitable for 400-450 volts 3 phase 50HZ AC and housed in elegent enclousre fabricated from 3.14mm thick CRCA sheet with anti corrosive coating to achive power factor 0.9 to 0.99 and final powder coated in texture siemens grey RAL 7032 and directed by Engineer in charge and comprising for the following:-

Copper bus bar duly insulated with colour coated heat shrinkable sleeves and mounted on DMC/Epoxy insulator (size not less than 50 mm x 50 mm chronical type at a max interval of 500mm of not less than 1.5 times rated capacity.

A set of heavy duty capacitor type MPPH with 5 steps ( 2x12.5+2x25+50) each by using metalised polypropylene technology having total losses less than 0.5 KVAR output with over load and frequent switch capability conforming to IS-2834 IEC - 831. Capacitors should be provided with special sequential pressure sensitive disconnector.

MCCB four pole 400 Amp 25 KA capacity conforming to IS-13943 (Part-3) to ensure positive isolation from both side when the unit is off.

Suitable capacitor for each step shall be used and shall be provided with special in rush coil to limit the capacitor in rush contactor shall operate between 85% to 110% but not less than 60%.

The APFC Panel provided with two earthing terminal and it is connected through GI strip transformer earthing/panel earthing all as specified and directed.

All control wire shall be not less than 2.5 Sqmm multi stranded copper conductor and properly bunched/ tied, ferulled for proper identification and crimpled with adequated size of lugs. The cubicle will have a bottom support of channel of suitable size, duly coated with zinc metal coating. Steel tubular swaged pole complete with MS base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-55, 11 mtr long, all as specified and shown on drawings including the followings:- (a) Excavation in post holes in any types of soil, returning, filling, well ramming and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m from the starting points. (b) PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in base.
