M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n.exc 400 sqm, exc 50 mm and n.exc 100mm deep, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Scarifying include racking over and grading the broken up surface to the proper camber etc. as required.

M&L for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in filling by power roller exc 8 tonne and n.exc 12 tonne capacity to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 200mm thick in two layers of each 100mm thick in pavings, with mix of fly ash, clinker & stone dust in the proportion of 1:3:6 (i.e. 10% fly ash, 30% clinker and 60% stone dust) incl watering, ramming and compacted with vibratory/power roller 8 to 12 tonne roller to get minimum CBR value 8% and dry density 97% placed at required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Rate shall be quoted by the bidders for two layers, 100mm each and measured as one composite layer of 200mm after rolling.

M&L for 150mm thick Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone of size as per MoRTH specifications, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled with power roller of capacity exc 8 tonne n.exc 12 tonne and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 150mm thick Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) (compacted thickness) in two layers i.e. 75mm each grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 8 to 10 tonne static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013. (ii) Rate shall be quoted by the bidders for two layers, 75mm each and measured as one composite layer of 150mm after rolling.

M&L for 100mm thick Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) (compacted thickness) in single layer grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 8 to 10 tonne static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Preparing surfaces of unsurfaced Wet Mix Macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a prime/tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM / WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH Specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a prime/tack coat of Bitumen VG-10 grade conforming to IS : 73-2006 at a rate of application of 0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH Specification for Road and Bridge Works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam over road using bitumen VG-30, laid/rolled by 8 to 10 tonne capacity roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), binder contents of premixed macadam shall be 4% by weight of total mix (Design Mix), complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying 25mm thick mastic asphalt consisting of an intermate homogeneous mixture on mineral filler, well graded fine and coarse aggregate industrial grade 85/25 bitumen as per IS 73 of 2006 cooked at 170 degree to 200 degree centigrade laid hot trowelled and floated by means of wooden float bitumen mastic after spreading and while still hot in plastic condition shall spread over with bituminous precoated fine aggregate of size 20mm @ 0.005 Cum per 10 Sqm mixed with 0.17 Kg per Sqm of industrial bitumen grade 85/25 for antistaciding including all material, labour, tools and plants all as specified and directed as per Design mix IRC 107-2013, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 120mm x 110mm x 50mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972 Make of Dark Eye fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 7.5 cm thick Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers, spread, levelled and rammed including watering and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas, n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in Soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Surface excavation n.exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft / loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonry built in cement mortar, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for brick work with sub class B bricks old size straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 15mm thick in CM 1:4 rendering on brick or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement and including using with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions on wall, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 600mm dia Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3 confirm to IS : 458-2003, laid and jointed complete with collar, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Rate shall be quoted by the bidders include for all necessary Excavation and earthwork, extra joint, waste and cutting etc.

M&L for plain cement Concrete bed 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm stone aggregate as in to drain pipes for 600mm dia bore including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
