False Ceiling Works (PME office, Director Secretary office and Room Nos 215, 217 and 220) in the Main Building at CSIR-NGRI, Hyderabad.

Description of Items :

Part A- Civil Work-Providing and fixing false ceiling at all height including providing and fixing of frame work made of special sections, power pressed from M.S. sheets and galvanized with zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm (both side inclusive) as per IS : 277 and consisting of angle cleats of size 25 mm wide x 1.6 mm thick with flanges of 27 mm and 37mm, at 1200 mm centre to centre, one flange fixed to the ceiling with dash fastener 12.5 mm dia x 50mm long with 6mm dia bolts, other flange of cleat fixed to the angle hangers of 25x10x0.50 mm of required length with nuts & bolts of required size and other end of angle hanger fixed with intermediate G.I. channels 45x15x0.9 mm running at the spacing of 1200 mm centre to centre, to which the ceiling section 0.5 mm thick bottom wedge of 80 mm with tapered flanges of 26 mm each having lips of 10.5 mm, at 450 mm centre to centre, shall be fixed in a direction perpendicular to G.I. intermediate channel with connecting clips made out of 2.64 mm dia x 230 mm long G.I. wire at every junction, including fixing perimeter channels 0.5 mm thick 27 mm high having flanges of 20 mm and 30 mm long, the perimeter of ceiling fixed to wall/partition with the help of rawl plugs at 450 mm centre, with 25mm long dry wall screws @ 230 mm interval, including fixing of gypsum board to ceiling section and perimeter channel with the help of dry wall screws of size 3.5 x 25 mm at 230 mm c/c, including jointing and finishing to a flush finish of tapered and square edges of the board with recommended jointing compound , jointing tapes , finishing with jointing compound in 3 layers covering upto 150 mm on both sides of joint and two coats of primer suitable for board, all as per manufacturer's specification and also including the cost of making openings for light fittings, grills, diffusers, cutouts made with frame of perimeter channels suitably fixed, all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the Engineer in Charge but excluding the cost of painting with : 12.5 mm thick tapered edge gypsum plain board conforming to IS: 2095- (Part I) : 2011 (Board with BIS certification marks)

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators, frame work for cladding and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle,self drilling screws of required size/ Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling/cladding, C.P.brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing and paneling to be paid for separately) : For fixed portion Anodised aluminium (anodised transparentor dyed to required shade according to IS:1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC15)

Providing and fixing bright finished brass 100 mm mortice latch with one dead bolt and a pair of lever handles of approved quality with necessary screws etc. complete.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer including one coat of cement primer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. (Make Birla, JK or equivalent)

Providing and applying of emulsion paint (make of Asian- tractor emulsion Advance paint) or equvalent of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade. New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer

Thermal Insulation of roofing with Expanded polystyrene fixed with suitable adhesive to the false ceiling as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge: With Type N - Normal 50 mm thick

Removing of wooden or metal wall cladding/ Existing false ceiling/roofing (means removing of profacted hard board, removing of wooden batten with out damaging ceiling) and stacking of the servicable materials and disposal of unservicable materials out side the NGRI campus. ( the false ceiling having loose Glass wool. Workers are not allowed without safty precaution) Removed glass wool to be filled in plastic bag and sealed them in proper manner as per instruction of Engineer -In-charge.

Dismantling aluminium/Gypsum/wooden partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in all required lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles(make of JOHNSON/ORIENT premium stain free or equivalent ) in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorptions less than 0.08% and conforming to IS :15622 of approved make , in all colours and shades, built in design tiles etc.including providing different coloured tiles of required size in designs as per instructions of Engineer in-charge including fixing with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS 15477 in average 6 mm thickness including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc complete. ( No extra cost for border, dark colour like black, brown etc.) Size of Tile 600x600 mm

Dismantling tile work in floors, walls and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material as per instructed by Engineer-in-charge. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Half brick masonry with non modular fly ash bricks of class designation 10, conformingio IS :12894, in super structure above plinth and upto floor III level.Cement mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Dismantling steel work in single sections including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead in: Channels, angles, tees and flats , AC ducts etc

Dismantling stone slab flooring laid in cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material all lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material all lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.In cement mortar

Providing minimum 40x3 mm flat iron hold fast 10 to 20 cm long including fixing to frame with bolts, nuts and wooden plugs and embedding in cement concrete block 15x10x15cm 1:3:6 mix (1 cement : 3 coarse sand: 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size).

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position including teak wood beading as per existing patern/design. Second class African teak wood

Providing and fixing roller blinds of make touch or equivalent as approved by Engineer-in-charge fabric with Aluminium runner, x rod, with acraylic chain, bottom chain, bottom, weights, rope and gear with end caps and brackets.

Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters (make of Raavela) conforming to IS: 2202 (Part -I) decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched teak 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters: 35mm thick including ISI marked stainless steel butt hinges 3Nos with necessary S.S. screws.

Providing and fixing plain multipurpose cement board (High pressure steam cured) with suitable screws for cement particle board in ceiling etc. complete (frame work to be paid seperatately).6 mm thick Cement bonded wood particle board as per IS:14276

Providing and fixing of 4mm thick float glass (black or plain) with putty, nails wherever necessary.

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, i/c fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and the cost of cutting chases and making good the same including testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge.Concealed work, including cutting chases and making good the walls. 25 mm nominal dia Pipes

12 mm cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels. Granite stone slab colour black, Cherry/Ruby red or as approved by Engineer-in-charge. Area of slab over 0.50 sqm

Providing and fixing Stainless Steel A ISI 304 (18/8) kitchen sink as per IS:13983 with C.I. brackets and stainless steel plug 40 mm, including painting of fittings and brackets, cutting and making good the walls wherever required :Kitchen sink without drain board 610x510 mm bowl depth 200 mm

Varnishing with varnish of approved brand and manufacture : Two or more coats of glue sizing with copal varnish over an under coat of flatting varnish

Part B-Electrical Work-Wiring with 2x1.5 sq.mm +1x1.5 sq. mm size of FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in recessed PVC conduit (Make: Finolex or equivalent ISI marked wire as suggested by Engineer In-charge) (Which also includes Inverter wiring)

Supplying and fixing of 16 Way three phase Distribution Box along with one number of 63A TP MCB, four numbers of 32A SP MCBs, four no's of 20A SP MCBs and Eight numbers of 10A SP MCBs (All Legrand or equivalent ISI marked make as suggested by Engineer In-charge)
