MISCELLANEOUS REPAIR WORKS

Supply and installation of Self adhesive aluminium foil bitumen waterproof membrane of 1.5mm thick multilayer bitumen membrane waterproofing over pre-coated sheet at IISER Pune. Bitumen membrane shall have first layer of high resign adhesive designed for pre-coated sheet roofing , second layer of asphalt and third layer of aluminium foil. Sheet shall have roll form , with one side protected with polyethane cover for adhesion. Provision of active joint of 50mm with adhesive shall be built in to the sheet throughout the length. Work shall be executed as per below listed method and OEM’s standard installation instructions, 1. Cleaning of Pre-coated sheet to make it free from dirt and dust. 2. Bitumen sheet roll of appropriate side and paste on the pre-coated sheet as per profile of sheets. 3. First round : Application of sheet on roofing sheet ensuring appropriate overlap of minimum 100mm at horizontal and vertical joints.4. Pressing of sheet by rubberized roller or rammer properly on the roofing sheet such that bitumen membrane shall follow sheet profile.5. Final pressing of sheet, rounding of corners. 6. Second Round : Shall be within a week after application of rolling sheet on sunny day to ensure perfect adhesion of sheet with roofing.7. Special care shall be taken at rounded area’s , at bases wind fans etc. Quoted rate shall be including cost of lead , lift , transportation , working at ladder connected heights , GST , transportation , taxes , duties , wastage etc complete. Nothing extra shall be paid separately. Actual surface area waterproofing done at site shall be measured for payments. In case of profile roofing sheets actual area of application including slanting sides of pitches shall be measured for payments. Providing & fixing false ceiling at all height including providing & fixing of framework made of special section, power pressed from M.S. sheets and galvanised with zinc coating of 120 gms/ sqm (both side inclusive) as per IS : 277 and consisting of angle cleat of size 25mm wide x 1.6mm thick with flanges of 27mm and 37mm, at 1200mm c/c, one flange fixed to the ceiling with dash fastener 12.5mm dia x 50mm long with 6mm dia bolts, other flange of cleat fixed to the angle hangers of 25 x10 x0.50mm of required length with nuts & bolts of required size and other end of angle hanger fixed with intermediate G.I channels 45 x15 x 0.90mm running at the spacing of 1200 mm c/c, to which the ceiling section 0.5mm thick bottom wedge of 80mm with tapered flanges of 26 mm each having lips of 10.5mm, at 450mm c/c, shall be fixed in a direction perpendicular to G.I intermediate channel with connecting clip made out of 2.64mm dia x 230mm long G.I wire at every junction, including fixing perimeter channels 0.50mm thick 27mm high having flanges of 20mm and 30mm long, the perimeter of ceiling fixed to wall/ partitions with the help of Rawl plugs at 450mm centre, with 25mm long dry wall screws @ 230mm interval, including fixing of Calcium Silicate Board to ceiling section and perimeter channels with the help of dry wall screws of size 3.5 x25mm at 230mm c/c, including jointing & finishing to a flush finish of tapered and square edges of the board with recommended jointing compounds, jointing tapes, finishing with jointing compounds in three layers covering up to 150mm on both sides of joints and two coats of primer suitable for boards, all as per manufacture's specification and also including the cost of making opening for light fittings, grills, diffusers, cut outs made with frame of perimeter channels suitably fixed, all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the Engineer in charge but excluding the cost of painting with: 8 mm thick Calcium Silicate Board made with Calcareous & Siliceous materials reinforced with cellulose fibre manufactured through autoclaving process. Quoted rates shall be including removal of old damaged false ceiling GST , labour, lead , lift , transportation etc complete. Nothing extra shall be paid separately.

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, panelling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) .Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron). Providing and fixing aluminium composite panel in metallic colour of approved shades made out of 4mm thick aluminium composite panel material consisting of 3.5mm thick FR grade mineral core sandwiched between wo Aluminium sheets (each 0.25mm thick). The aluminium composite panel sheet shall be coil coated, with Kynar 500 based PVDF / Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating of approved colour and shade using stainless steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers, cleats, weather silicone sealant, backer rods etc.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. Quoted rate shall be including at taxes , duties , royalties , lead, lift , transportation , insurance , GST , etc. Nothing extra shall be paid separately. Approved Makes Nerolac/Dulux/Asian.

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content. With oil thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre. Minimum 2 coats .Quoted rate shall be including at taxes , duties , royalties , lead, lift , transportation , insurance , GST ,etc. Nothing extra shall be paid separately. Painting with synthetic enamel paint of satin finish approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work. Quoted rate shall be including at taxes , duties , royalties , lead, lift , transportation , insurance , GST , etc. Nothing extra shall be paid separately. Shade and scheme shall be got approved from Engineer In-charge before taking-up work. Application methodology as specified by Manufacturer. Approved Makes Nerolac/Dulux/Asian.

Checking , inspection , removal and refixing of modular false ceiling system of size 595X595 along with grid system. All ceiling grid system and tiles shall be removed , inspected for intactness , checking of all supports , screws , suspender , leveller , GI wire etc complete and refixing of grid system with all existing angle-tee structure. Any angle-tee, perimeter channel , 2' tee , 4'tee bent or damaged during removal shall be replaced with same size shape , make and colour . All ceiling tiles shall be stacked carefully and reinstalled simultaneously. Ceiling tiles found damaged before removal or identified after removal shall be replaced and measured separately. Rate shall be inclusive of scaffolding etc. complete . Nothing extra shall be paid separately.

Providing and fixing grid for modular false ceiling of size 595X595 along with grid system , quoted rate shall be including removal of existing damaged/bent unserviceable grid.

Providing and laying modular false ceiling tile of size 595X595 , quoted rate shall be including removal of existing damaged/bent unserviceable tle, disposal to dumping ground within campus.

Repairs to Gypsum/Calcium Silicate Partition/ceiling by providing and fixing 8mm calcium silicate board single/double skin on existing G.I. frame/ceiling including jointing and finishing flush to existing finish with recommended jointing compound, jointing tape, angle beads at corners (25 mm x 25 mm x 0.5 mm), joint finisher and two coats of primer , putty and 2 coat painting suitable for board as per manufacture's specification and direction of engineer in charge all complete. 8mm Calcium Silicate Board made with Calcareous & Siliceous materials reinforced with cellulose fiber manufactured through autoclaving process with Compressive Strength 225 kg/sq.cm, Bending Strength 100 kg./ sq.cm . Quoted rate shall be including removing of existing damaged ceiling , making proper supporting arrangement , scaffolding upto 5 meter etc complete. Actual area of board shall be measured for payment.

Providing and fixing wall panelling by 8mm tapered edge calcium silicate board made with calcareous & siliceous materials reinforced with cellulose fiber manufactured through autoclaving process to give stable crystalline structure with compressive strength 225 kg/ sq.cm, Bending strength 100 kg/sq.cm over frame work of aluminium /GI/MS etc all complete as per the drawing & directions of engineer-in-charge, the joints of the boards are finished with specially formulated jointing compound and 48 mm wide jointing tape to provide seamless finish.Frame works shall be measured in respective items. Quoted rate shall be including removing of existing damaged ceiling , making proper supporting arrangement , scaffolding upto 5 meter etc complete. Actual area of board shall be measured for payment.

Providing & fixing black colour weather proof silicone sealant 688 Grade DOW or equivalent make heavy duty silicon over backer rod of required size with adhesive removable abro tape both side up to 8 mtr height with all safety , labour insurance, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Upto 5mm depth and 5 mm width.(Rate including of all taxes, wastage, GST, material, labour scaffolding, Cleaning site after work, etc complete including Providing & Fixing flexible Backer Rod 8mm dia weight 50gm / mtr in Grey colour in to the Gap of ACP External cladding height up to 8 mtr with all safety , labour insurance, proper filling in gaps with cutting, fixing etc. Complete. (Rate including of all taxes, wastage, GST, material, labour scaffolding, Cleaning site after work, etc complete. )

Removal of existing ACP covering to storm water drain , stacking of removed sheets properly at any location with campus as per instruction of Engineer In-charge , removal of existing ACP gutter drain and fixing of percolated galvanised steel sheet gutter.( gutter shall be paid separately ). Quoted rate shall be cost of labour, material , GST . scaffolding etc complete. nothing extra shall be paid separately.

Supply and filling of silicon sealant in cracks , gaps and voids as per direction of Engineer In-charge with silicon dispenser gun , masking tape and levelling putty blade etc. Quoted rate shall be applicable for heights upto 4 meter. One bottle of silicon sealant of approved colour one masking tape and two dispenser guns shall be provided. Actual quantity filled at site in gaps shall be inspected and measured for payments.

Providing and fixing percolated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineering- charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required. Quoted rate shall be including GST , labour , fuel etc complete. Nothing extra shall be paid separately. Quoted rate shall including supply and fixing of machine bent apron as per direction of Engineer In-charge. Noting extra shall be payable for machine bending for apron.

Providing and applying Kemperol V210 treatment to percolated roofing surface including two coats of Kemperol EP primer followed by sprinkling silica sand (0.3 to 0.7mm), Applying 2/3 of KEMPEROL V 210 on the surface with the help of nylon roller/brush. Then roll out the KEMPEROL AP Fleece. Remove all wrinkles and then saturate completely with remaining 1/3rd of KEMPEROL V 210 mixture. Self curing of 3days etc complete or directed by project In charge. A solid base of mortar / rubber coving / metal sheeting shall be provided before applying membrane. Single coat bitumastic paint shall be applied for protection of membrane . Quoted rate shall be including cost of material , labour , GST , scaffolding etc complete. Nothing extra shall be paid separately.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete. 12.51.6 Gutter (600 mm over all girth)

Supplying, fixing and testing of PVC SWR - A class pipe confirming to IS 13592-1992 and 6 kg pvc pipe confirming to IS4985 for rain water from terrace level, with necessary specials like bends, shoes etc., complete.
