REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF INTERNAL WIRING INCLUDING FITTINGS, SOLAR WATER HEATER, CEILING FANS, EXHAUST FANS, ELECTRIC GEYSERS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT SUNJUWAN, BALIDAN STAMBH, SAINIK ARAM GRAH UNDER GE JAMMU

Charges for attending day to day/ E/M petty complaint in respect repair / rectification of fault in electric fitting MCB DB's, internal wiring LT panel and fixture and rectify the faults and replacement of unserviceable any type of fitting / fixture, MCB's, any type, bakellite sheet, restore the electric supply and made the item functionable light point, fan point, socket point 5A / 15A, switches, sockets, fan regulator, light fixtures any type of lamp, MCB DB's and all electrical accessories and day to day / door to door maintenance, making the points / accessories serviceable in all respect with replacement of any minor parts like small length of wires (not more than 1 metre) and other connected minor accessories. Work shall also include to check and removal of leakage in service connection / submains of houses as and when directed. The scope also include cutting of existing bakellite sheet to accommodate new wiring accessories all type of electric fitting / fixture.

Note : Any other replacement of major items shall be measured and paid under respective items as supply only. Fixing charge of fitting / fixture and MCB's of any type is deemed to be included in the above item.

(i) Contractor representative / Engineer will report to complaint cell for morning and afternoon to collect routine / urgent nature of complaint related to internal electric supply till completion of contract. The work shall be attended by the contractor immediately. The contractor will ensure availability of manpower (Two Electrician and Two Helper) equipped with all sort of petty items such as insulation tape, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc required to accomplish the job. The contractor will also ensure availability of every type of requisite T&P items to his tradesman. All routine / urgent job received on job slip will be repaired and got signature of users and will be deposited to complaint cell within 24 hours. In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hours after handing over of routine / urgent works, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as per the item rate. (ii) Contractor shall maintain the maintenance register showing all daily complaints received and shall maintain job card for attending complaints. The signature of the user shall be obtained on the job card showing the materials used in the work after completion of the job. (iii) If the Contractor did not attend complaints, a penalty of Rs 300/- per day per complaint recovery shall be made from the work done amount. (iv) The MES Department is not responsible for the payment of staff hired by contractor for complaint rates for attending the complaints by the electrician are deemed to be included in the item for repair i.e. Electrician / Helper, as all the items of CA are to be supply and fixed by the contractor. (v) Proper record (date wise) of complaints received and rectified by the contractor shall be produced for verification at the time of payment of each RAR / Bill. (vi) All the complaint slip, register and connected documents will be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. (vii) After any repair the site has to be cleaned and make the surface good.

Labour for repair / servicing of ceiling fan of any capacity complete with strip opening the ceiling fan for repair / washing / varnishing and removing of old lubricating substance from bearing / bush using Kerosine oil, carrying out fresh lubrication using grease and to make the ceiling fan noise free for smooth functioning, including replacement of worn out / unserviceable minor spare parts split pin, fan body bolts, spring washer, fan rod bolt etc and PVC insulated, unsheathed stranded twin twisted copper conductor cable of size 1.5 Sqmm upto 1.0 m long, assembling the repaired ceiling fan in existing position and testing to the entire satisfication of Engineer-in-Charge on site. Notes: - (i) Replacement of spares flexible wire etc / rewinding of ceiling fan / capacitor with clamps shall be measured and paid separately under respective item for material and labour cost.
