Pad Insulation

Providing & Fixing of flexible, removable & reusable insulation pad over Valves, Flanges, Heat Exchangers & Turbines and securing it tightly using 1.5 mm SS wire passing through 'Z' type hooks placed over pads. The pads shall be made of non-combustible IS : 15402 and suitable up to 1425 Deg. Celsius, encased in fiber glass fabric ,External top cover fabric (for cold face) made of Polymer Coated fiber glass fabric of temperature resistance up to 300 Deg.C, oil and water resistant External bottom cover fabric to 900 Deg.C All material to be fabricated with 0.028mm SS wire / Teflon silica thread as per US MIL 20079H conforming to ASTM D 4030 - 89, using 7-10 stitches per 25mm. Pads shall be fitted with (SS-304, QRF) industrial quick fastening hooks stitched on top at 200-300mm centre to centre. SS wire mesh to be lined on inner side of the cover fabric. The pads shall be of 25mm thickness for usage up to 200 Deg.C, 50mm for usage up to 400 Deg.C., and 75mm for usage above 400 Deg.C. For application up to 200 Deg.C, silicon impregnation will be 500 gsm. with 0.05mm aluminium foil laminate.The pads will be wrapped over the value & flange surface and held in position tightly with the help SS Wire. The pads will have overlap up to 75mm at the ends. Wherever required, SS wire mesh to be lined on inner side of the cover as an option. The prefabricated pads shall be tailor-made to the size of Valves, Flanges, Heat Exchangers & Turbines and shall be manufactured at the Factory. Detail QAP (Quality Approval Plan), drawings and test certificates as per IS standards of NABL Approved lab to be supplied along with supply of material.
