Supply, laying, jointing testing and commissioning in replacement of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 11 KV grade of cross-sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core, IS 7098 marked, suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system , laid in trenches / ducts / encased in GI pipe / fixed to pole complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation and earth work, brick protection, sand cushioning and GI protection pipes shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth; or n.exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or laying underground cable etc. in soft/loose soil, & getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge .

S&F un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV, type-1, with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm laid flat length of cover across the length of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for sand cushioning with dry coarse sand to under ground cable 23 cm thick, 8 cm thick below the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.

Supply and fix in replacement air break gang operated switch, triple pole, 11 KV (outdoor type) mechanically operated, suitable for horizontal or vertical mounting fixed type complete with 3 Nos porcelain insulators and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level with fixed contacts of phosphorous bronze and moving control of copper, for current rating upto 400 Amps including 20mm dia GI pipe heavy duty of required size and with locking arrangement including 65mm pad lock with two keys with fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements having 400 amp rating suitable for HT 11 KV, 50 Hz, AC supply including necessary electric connections complete and painting of steel surfaces with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Galvanised steel wire 4 mm dia for cradle hexagonal/ rectangular or running straight incl taking down complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fix in replacement lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings transmission class discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amps for 11KV overhead line complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement pin type insulator of size 150mm height, 150 mm dia porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator suitable for 11 KV grade including one galvanized mild steel spindles, two GI washer and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement disc type insulator of vitreous porcelain 145 mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green of single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductor working pressure 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing cross arms, bracings, stiffeners, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, binding cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :Unexposed surface of steel sections shall be applied one coat of red oxide primer and exposed surface shall be applied one finishing coat of aluminium over a coat of red oxide primer. cost of the same is included in the unit rate of the item.

Supply, fixing & stretching in replacement aluminium conductor steel, reinforced (ACSR) of any size fixed on HT/LT poles fixed on insulators and binding with & including binding wire 14 SWG and taking down old one complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The weight of binding wire will not be considered for payment and cost of binding wire will be inclusive in quoted rate.

M & L for PCC (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for poles, stays & mass concrete including necessary form work and fair finishing to exposed surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping of poles / struts/ stays etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in repair for Brick work using fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for HT 11KV XLPE cable fault finding with the help of fault finding pin point location machine complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in eplacement cable jointing kit for 11 HV (earthed) grade cable end termination cold shrinkable outdoor type cable jointing kit suitable for 11 KV (E) 50 to 95sqmm x 3core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting the tree branches which touches the LT/HT OH lines and 2.5 mtr away from centre line of HT/LT OH line span not exceeding 60 mtrs between poles and deposting the tree branches/leaves at 30 m distance away from site.Note:- Any number of tree branches cut in one span will be measured as one length for payment purpose.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surface of 4/2 pole structure HT/LT street light/HT steel tublar poles 8.5/9.0 mtr long above GL/coping including cross arms,channels,Flat iron,Clamps in LT/HT OH line by scraping with wire brush and applying one coat of aluminium paint including pole numbering all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Preparation of old painted cement base surfaces e.g. installation display boards of any discription over 10 cm width/grith and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L writing letter figures (Block, raman, italic or Indian) n. exc 30 cm high.

S&F in replacement ACSR conductor(Ferret) jumper connections of following lengths both ends secured with suitable aluminium lugs or one end with AI lugs and other end plain for binding with conductor encased with polythylene pipe ,RYB colours of suitable dia complete all as directed.

M&L in repalcement Galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in repalcement Cradles, hexagonal /rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire replacement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement for numerical digital over current and earth fault relay operated on 30VDC/110VAC of any make installed in VCB panel for protection against short circuit and earth fault, testing, commissioning and submitting test report on proper format complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement factory made earthing electrode comprising of Hot dipped galvanized MS flat inserted in to GI pipe of 88mm bore (outer), 3m length, filled with non magnetic anti corrosive material specially developed for ground resistance enhancement power around the electrode to retain moisture conforming to IS 3043 including necessary boring in ground of 200 mm dia in any type of strata connecting to test point all as specified and directed. Note : The earth resistance shall be less than 1 Ohms. Contractor shall improve the earthing resistance within the permissible limit without any extra cost.

M & L For disconnecting, opening, draw out VCB trolley complete from its position after isolating safely from contacts of breakers for inspection, checking and re-installing testing commissioning of same after carryout following repair work and replacement of unserviceable spares complete all as directed and specified by OEM. (i) Checking of Draw out mechanism/arrangement of VCB (ii) Inspection of isolating Contacts, and decarburizing the male /female contacts, jaws complete and replacement of worn out contacts if any. (iii) Checking of alignment with spout and setting of contact gaps. (iv) Replacement of worn out/defective minor spares parts, lubrication of moving parts of the truck by moly grease. (v) Checking/setting of master control relay, earth fault realy and overload realy. (vi) Replacement of burnt out spring charge motor. (vii) Replacement of Closing Coil 30V DC. (viii) Replacement of tripping Coil 30V DC. (ix) Replacement of top spout with Busbar. (x) Replacement of Bottom spout with Busbar. (xi) Replacement of power pack. (xii) Replacement of Push button for open and Close, micro switches, indication lamps. (xiii) Decarburizing and reinsulation of complete busbar track system complete in all respect. (xiv) Misc works deemed essential to make VCB in perfectly working order. Note: Major spare parts are to be paid separetly under respective items of BOQ, however cost of minor spares (which are not mentioned in BOQ) shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply only following spare parts suitable for 30 VDC/ 110VAC to be incorporated under Ser item No 32.00 above :-

M&L in replacement Lead Acid battery bank consisting of heavy duty 2 VDC, 60 AH battries for sub station application to be used for operating controls connected as battery bank of 30 VDC each 2 VDC, 60 AH x15 Battries in series) connected with suitable rating of copper conductor wire , battery terminals, float for monitoring of electrolite level, complete placed and mounted in space / wooden/ fibre battery mounting stand anti corrosive complete duly connected and tested with battery charger.

M&L for primary and secondry injection testing of existing CT's set of three any type any capacity installed in VCB's located at different sites and providing authentic test results for further necessary action.

S&F in repairs Current Transformer dual ratio of rating 100/50/5A, 22 KV pressure epoxy cast resin complete duly intalled, commissioned, connected and tested at site all as directed.

S&F in repairs digital voltmeter 144 sqmm for measuring incoming voltage at VCB operated with Potential transformer , installed in existing space with minor modifications.

S&F in repairs digital multifunction ammeter CTR -/5A comensurating with existing CT's,144 sqmm for measuring current load at VCB operated with , installed in existing space with minor modifications..

Surface excavation in hard/dense soil for taking out sand and pebbles for and including removing vegetation and bushes not exceeding 30 cm in depth in sub stations.

M&L for sperading stone aggregates /hardcore of guage n.exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick over sand layer including proper levelling after removing old existing aggregate all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
