Notes for section I:- (i) The Comprehensive maintenance (Section-I) under this contract shall be done through OEM i.e. any one of M/s Matrix Telecom Solutions/ M/s NEC/ M/s Creative Telecom (P) Ltd/ M/s Core-IP/ M/s SAN Software. The contractor is liable to submit MoU on stamp paper of Rs 100/- duly notarized, as per specified Performa (On srl page No. 108 to 110) and copy of Maintenance Contract from the OEM within tewnty one days from date of Acceptance of tender. If the delay from OEM side to submit the MoU, the contractor to be submit evidence to the Accepting Officer and permission to be obtained from Accepting Officer for delay in submission of MoU. (ii) Contractor will conclude AMC with OEM and copy of the agreement along with Invoice will be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge and GE. No payment will be made to contractor without submission of valid AMC agreement and Invoice. (iii) The above maintenance include complete maintenance of existing intercom system by regularly and systematically examining as required for smooth and efficient functioning of the equipment. Cost of all major and minor spares items including cables are deemed to be included in the above rate.

.(iv) Contractor should send Telephone Mechanic to attend/ rectify the complaints for all the locations during 0800 Hrs to 1800 Hrs as and when complaint is lodged for breakdown on call basis for any No of times during the month. (v) Contractor should rectify the minor defect within 8 hrs and major defect within 24 hrs after receiving the complaint from user/ MES Rep on site including Sundays and Holidays, failing which a penalty of Rs 1000/ per complaint per day shall be levied upon contractor. (vi) All minor/ major spare for instrument (i.e. phone hand set, car set type hands free intercom set, steel casing enclosure for telephone set, MDF crown, CLI card, ALC card/ UPS with battery as required and battery 12 volts, 7 AH make:- Exide/ Amaron/ Standard Furkkawa) are deemed to be included with quoted rates. (vii) The contractor deemed to have visited the site and seen the scope of work before quoting the rates. (viii) Monthly Service report duly signed by OEM, contractor & Engr-in-Charge to be submitted to deptt, failing which a penalty of Rs 5000/- per individual IP PBX wi-fi /EPABX system shall be levied & deducted from running payments of contractor.

Section-III (BOQ Item 25 to 49) M&L in replacement of earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to the galvanised earth lead by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron wire of 4mm dia as earth lead as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil, earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate pit, funnel, 20mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe, 40mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe and pre-cast earth pit cover 50mm thick made of RCC (1:1.5:3) type A1 duly reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @100mm c/c both ways, one lifting handle made out of 10mm dia TMT bar 250mm long embedded in cover slab and cover, wire, copper lugs etc mesh, chorcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm thick complete all as specified and directed. Supply & fix in replacement of GI strip 25 x 6 mm and necessary clamps,shaddels,screws complete from machine room equipment to earth pit including taking down of old one or connecting in pieces with old one complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. .Note:- (i) Rate for fixing of earthing strip from earth pit to lift machine room from shaft will be included in the quoted rate.
