Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by any State Government / Government of India /Union Territory.

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module non refundable processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-)

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

Contractors Should be registered with KPWD as Class-2 and above Contractor.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner otherwise it will be rejected.

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval.

The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Tender documents KW-4 K.P.W.D. and further orders there on.

In the case of the death of the contractor after executing the agreement , commencement of the work, his legal heir, if is an eligible registered contractor and is willing can execute and complete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work

Contractor should carry out additional test required to test the suitability of materials.

The defect liability period for this project shall be 2 years

The successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given Clause 29.1 of ITT for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security for unbalanced tenders in accordance with Clause 25.5 & 29.1 of ITT and Clause 44 of the Conditions of Contract. This shall released after DLP.

Contractor should take all precautions to ensure that no damage is caused to any adjacent structures/utilities above or below the ground and also to the existing canal CD works and other similar structures which have been constructed by other agencies during project execution. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at his own risk and cost.

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent.

Formation levels and other data furnished are bare minimum the contractor should make all efforts to validate and to get additional data if required at his own cost.

Contractor should execute the project with least impact to the environment till the completion of project.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD, Chikkaballapur Division, Chickaballapur during office hours on all working days.

All materials required for the work like bitumen, steel, cement etc., shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality assurance, PWD before use on the work at their own cost.

The contractors assessed available tender capacity will be calculated as per the clause 3.6 of standard tender document Attached. For calculation of tender capacity A and B values must be furnished work wise duly signed by the authorized signatory.

All the items in the tender including all lead, lifts,loading unloading, transportation, labour, hire charges of machinery curing for concrete works, cost and convence of all matiral and all other such incidental charges necessary for successful completion of works as per the detalied technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge of this work.

When embankments are constructed disputes arising on account of damages to the existing field channels, bunds and other private properties, if any, has to be resolved by the contractor. All precautions should be taken by the contractor so that there are no damages to such public/ private properties.

Contractor should take all precautionary measures to avoid any damage to the utilities during excavation as well as utility shifting. To that extent the contractor should indemnify the client.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act & The contractor should employ only registered labours as per Govt. Circular No. PWD/198/BMS/2009/ Dated: 24-06-2009

Price adjustment is as per G.O. No. 791 Exp-12/2015, Bangalore Dated : 26-02-2016 for this work.

The increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

GST Shall be paid to the tendered amount separately

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt. orders. As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund.

Minimum One Lakh Rupees of the specified EMD should be paid in any one of the forms mentioned in Clause 13.1, Bank Guarantee must be given for the remaining amount in prescribed format. The copy of the Bank Guarantee must be scanned and submitted along with the Technical bid.

The successful tenderer should provide monthly physical and financial progress to be achieved in Bar chart/Milestone chart/PERT chart during agreement.

Contractor should adhere to EMS (environmental monitoring system) policy applicable for similar projects. Contractor to that extent should submit EMS document defining all the procedure including the policies before execution of the project.

The contractor shall be solely responsible for the safety of their staff and the general public on the site and shall observe all the precautionary and safety measures through the execution of the work.

Estimate rates are excluding GST as per Common SR 2023-24 and prevailing GST (18% of Amount Put to tender) amount is kept in form of Lump sum in sanctioned estimate according to guidelines in Common SR. Therefore, amount put to Tender and ECV amount are excluding GST. KPPP-PORTAL format has No Options to add GST Separately at stage of Draft Tender Schedule Process for Over All amount put to Tender , tender has been inviting through an Option with INCLUSIVE. But the item wise rates do not include GST. Hence, GST will be paid separately for the quoted amount accordingly.

All the concrete items are inclusive of form work.

The Quantities for the necessary deviation road and cofferdam are provided on a one-time basis in the BOQ and any additional Quantities required for completion of the work shall be deemed included in the contractors rates, no extra payments shall be admissible and such works shall be executed at the contractors own cost and risk
