Grouting and re Strengthening of overhead water tank base bottom and structure (Exterior). Work Specifications : a) Thorough Inspection of all cracks and damages to the structure. b) Chipping of damage surface and cracks on beams, Columns and tank outer surface and exposing reinforcement. c) Removal of rust from reinforcement bars using wire brush and blower. d) Applying of anti rust chemicals to the bars (Nitoprime 88 Fosroc make). e) Application of bonding agents (Nitobond AR Fosroc make). f) Re concreting of chipped areas using non-shrink, cementi-tious micro-concrete, (Renderoc RG Fosroc make). g) Structurally week beams, Columns and tank outer surface to be pressure grouted using Cebex 100 Fosroc make. (It is an Plasticised Expanding Grout Admixture) h) Re Plastering of repaired and grouted surface using cement mortar 1:4 and Nitobond AR for strong bonding. Note: i) The quoted rate shall include of providing necessary scaffolding (Height from bottom of dome to GL is 21 m, Height of tank is 4 m) for carrying out work and removal out of MD land after completion of work. ii) Entire work shall be carried through a specialist firm or by their authorised agency duly approved by the Accepting officer. iii) The tenderer shall inspect the site of work to assess the requirement before quoting the rate. Nothing extra is admissible on account of misunderstanding of requirement at site.

Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and welding, binding with and inlcuding mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips.

Taking down cement plaster of any description including racking out joints, hacking for key and disposing of debris to a distance exc 1 Km out side MD land all as specified and as directed.

M&L Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in two coats, 5mm thick in CM (1:4) including mixing of water proofing compound as a second coat over first coat of 10mm thick in CM (1:6) finished even and smooth complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Supply only WPC shall be measured and paid seperately

Complete removal of existing treatment from wall surface and preparation of the surface to receive the primer coat

Supply only Integral waterproofing compound

Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls etc brooming down with steel wire brushing , scrapping down smoke soot , moulds moss and efflorescent salts trading etc & greasy spouts including concrete pilasters etc. and applying one coat of white wash on walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for applying two coats of weather proof exterior emulsion paint of approved colour over a coat of primer over two coats of exterior wall putty on untreated wall / ceiling surfaces including preparation complete.

Applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel & iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise, described, over 10cm width or girth including preparation of old painted surface.
