REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL PIPE LINE, SLUICE VALVE , NRV AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT NAGROTA UNDER GE NAGROTA

Supply and laying laid in trenches galvanised steel water tubing, medium grade, ISI marked, with screwed and socket joints,with all fittings such as tees, bends, unions, elbows,reducers etc required at site for the following bore including taking down existing water tubing, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Excavation and Earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of sch A (ii) The rates quoted inclusive of cutting , joining and testing of the pipe.

S&F in repair air release valve for 100 mm bore including GI flanged Bolts/Nuts/Washers gasket etc all and removal of old valve and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F foot valve for 200mm dia including GI flanged bolts/Nuts/washers gasket etc and taking down existing old unserviceable foot valve, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Non return valve (NRV) conforming to IS 5312, ISI marked with GM flap of size 200 mm and connected with necessary bolts, nuts & washers, gaskets etc complete including dismantling of old unserviceable non return valve complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for foundation . pipe line etc not exc 10 sqm on plain and n.exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in Hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- During the excavation any damage to the existing services like telephone cable, electric cable, sewage line etc will be repaired by the contractor at his own risk and cost. No extra payment will be borne by the dept on this account.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50m and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m from the starting point., complete all as specified and directed

S&F cast iron sluice valve PN 1.6 conforming to IS 14846/2000, ISI mark with MS spindle and iron wheel head with both ends flanged with new rubber gasket, bolts and nuts including dismantling of old serviceable sluice valve fixed at any location complete all as specified and directed

M&L for valve chambers on existing chamber foundation with 230 mm thick brick masonary wall with sub class 'B' bricks builts in cement mortar 1:6, 75 mm thick coping with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 , 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 over all internal and external wall surface, 25 x25 x4mm thick MS angle iron frame and 3.0 mm thick MS chequd plate cover with hinges and necessary alocking arrangement painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including dismantling and removal of existing damaged chamber except PCC foundation of internal size:-
