Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area n exc 400 sqm & depth exc 50mm & n exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM for disturbed portion of road with coarse aggregates (lime stone/sand store, flint or quartzite) of grading 1 (63 to 40 mm size),, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient, camber and super elevation to match with existing surface rolled with 8-10 tonne power roller apllying & brooming requisite type screening/binding material fill up interstices of coarse aggregate ,watering & compacting to reqd density complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidate thickness with 5.5.% binder content paving bitumen VG-30 confirming to IS-73-2006 by weight of total mix and OPC-43 grade using as filter material laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Bituminous concrete shall be mixed in hot mix plant, transported from plant to work site and laid/spread by means of mechanical paver finisher . (ii) Filler for bituminous concrete shall be OPC-43 grade @2% of total mix. (iii) Contractor shall quote his rate on the basis of binder as mentioned in this item. If there is any negative variation in the actual binder content used as per design mix approved by GE, the rate shall be adjusted @ Rs.53.00 per Kg of binder used. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified in said item. (iv) Work shall be executed as per design mix approved by GE.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam using with paving bitumen VG-30 grade of any penetration of consolidated thickness 75mm or less with 4% binder content by weight of total mix, laid & rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair cateyes Two way Reflective panel Amber or Red. Plastic body size 100 x 100x 20 mm to give the maximum reflection which enhnaces the visibility of the Vehicles during dark and bad light condition completea all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letter etc on old / new roads pavements with coloured as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and the like exc 10 CM wide and 1 to 2 mm thick with hot thermoplastic road marking material with the mechanical instruments including necessary preparation of surface and mixing with glass wool complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (Un-rienforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 block masonary with solid blocks, as in kerb stone set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.
