REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF SIGN BOARD OF RUNWAY AND TAXI TRACK UNDER GE (AF) TECH AREA AT AF STN AGRA

Dismantling of old serviceable signage board of any size and shape complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old unserviceable signage board shall be contractor's property as per schedule of credit.

Supply and fixing of guidance sign boards having various sizes as per ICAO standards, Annexure 14 (2018) fabricated from hollow anodized aluminium profile with 1100mm long frangible legs passing inside the signs. On front side polycarbonate signage sheet shall provide with inscription. The Signage Sheet shall be 4 mm thick, long life UV stabilized poly carbonate non spectular surface with letters and symbol of size (as per directed by Engr in charge), made out from 3M film pasted from inside with required coloring for Mandatory/ Informatory guidance sign. The rear panel shall be made of 1.5mm thick aluminium in single sided baords and Polycarbonage signage sheet in double sided boards. The board shall have frangible mounging legs with CI casting base with name of vendor imprinted and M10 Bolts welded in foundation plate with anchor. The signage sheet and aluminium back sheet (in single sided boards) shall be fixed with 25 x 24 x 3mm thick aluminium angle with stainless steel hardward. The board shall comply to ICAO latest amendment. The whole board shall be power coated in white colour complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

(a) Double Sided Boards (Both side Signage Sheet) (Profile 100 X 25 X 2mm thick )

1.00 to 1.25 M Width X 0.80 M (Height)

1.26 to 1.5 M Width X 0.80 M (Height)

1.51 to 1.75 M Width X 0.80 M (Height)

2.00 to 2.50 M Width X 0.80 M (Height)

2.51 to 3.00 M Width X 0.80 M (Height)

(b) Single Sided Boards (Single side Signage Sheet) (Profile 100 X 25 X 2mm thick )

2.00 to 2.50 M Width X 0.80 M (Height)

Note for item No.2 above:- The work shall be completed in all respect as required including necessary excavation and earth work and fixing of sign boards with cement concrete base and platform made up of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate of size = board size +1 meter on front and back and 0.5 Meter on sides and 200mm thick made up of over 150mm thick hard core all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Unit rate quoted by the contractor for above items shall deemed to be included for this provision.

M&L for repair to existing surface pavement by cutting inverted trapezoidal section in regular shapes by diamond cutters and chiselling, removing loose concrete cleaning with compressed air and washing with chemical water solution, priming and making good with Elestomeric concrete as per manufacturer's instruction including disposal of rubbish to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m complete all as specified and directed.
