Repair to potholes of depth exceeding 30mm, area not exceeding 1 Sqm each , including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying priming/tack coat with using paving bitumen (VG -10) @ 5kg per 10 sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (VG -30 ) 9.8Kg per 10sqm binded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping 6.3mm size rolled and compacted with 8 to 10ton power roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note:This Item shall not be permitted to operate simultaneously at Item no 2 & 4 location

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., over black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Bituminous premix dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm (consolidated thickness)in single layer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 as binder with 5.5% minimum binder content mixed by weight of total mix as wearing course, using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller complete all as specified. Note :- (i) No extra payment shall be paid to the contractor for extra quantity of bitumen than mentioned in Sch "A" on plus side. However price adjustment shall be made for less quantity of binder content used in the work. (ii) Design mix for bituminous premix dense asphaltic concrete shall be got designed from approved lab/institute and approval of CWE shall be obtained. Hot mix plant shall also be inspected & approved by the rep detailed by Accepting officer.

Applying evenly a tack coat with hot pressure spray using RS-1 (Rapid Setting) Bitumen Cationic Emulsion conforming to IS-8887/ASTMD-2397@ 2.5 Kg/10 Sqm over black top surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix dense bituminous macadam (DBM) 75mm or less (consolidated) thickness in single layer (compacted thickness) using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 with 4% binder by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using vibratory/pneumatic and tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (i) No extra payment shall be paid to the contractor for more quantity of bitumen than mentioned in Sch 'A' on plus side. However price adjustment shall be made for less quantity of binder content used in the work. (ii) Design mix for bituminous premix dense asphaltic concrete shall be got designed from approved lab/institutions and approval of CWE shall be obtained. Hot mix plant shall also be inspected & approved by the rep detailed by Accepting officer.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of cement concrete / Bituminous pavement and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc., and the like, exceeding 10cm wide with one coat of water based (aqua based) road marking paint, white or golden yellow or blue in tint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs raised reflective pavement marker (Cat eyes) made of plastic body moulded from HIPS (Hi-impact polystrene) or ABS plastic conforming to ASTM D type 4280 type H and complying to specifications of category A and reflactive panels consisting of number of lenses containing single or dual prismatic cubes capable for providing total interal reflection light entering the lens face, with height not exceeding 20mm and length and width 100mm (not exceeding surface shall be 130mm) and the area of each retro-reflecting surface shall be 13 Sqmcm on each face and shall preferably be 35 ± 5 degree slope to base to face. fixed as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.
