This is a percentage-rate BOQ. The schedule below shows estimated quantities and rates. Bidders quote a single percentage above or below the total estimated cost.

| 2 | Laying of Above Ground Product / OWS pipelines of steel including pipes supplied by IOCL on pedestals/sleepers/overhead pipe rack/structures up to 12 M height etc. Pipes in the scope of IOCL shall be supplied anywhere within the terminal area and the subcontractor shall shift the same to the site of work at no extra cost with all leads and lifts. The pipeline laying includes cutting, positioning, setting, fixing the pipe fittings such as elbows, bends tees, reducers etc., complete with supports as per drawings and hydro testing the pipelines as per specification.
Note:
a. Charges for welding of pipelines, Pipe Fittings including edge preparation, DP Testing & radiography testing shall be paid seperately under respective item.
b. The job includes Blast cleaning (using Slag/ Shots) & painting of the outer surfaces of above ground pipeline/ fittings/ specials all leads & lifts etc. complete as per enclosed specifications and instructions at site.
c. Pipe length indicated against each size is actual as per drawing. Payment will be made for the actual quantity executed at site.
d. The primer and paint shall be as per the list of paint manufacturers enclosed. The make and quality of paint shall be decided in consultation with IOC prior to use.
e. Pipeline colour coding shall be carried out as per IOC specifications at no extra cost for product piping.
f. Structural Pipe Rack / Pedestals are not part of this item. The same shall be constructed and paid as per the respective item of the
BoQ.
g. Rate is inclusive of water required for hydrotesting. Water used for hydro-testing to be disposed off in environmentally friendly way after treatment. Reuse of water used for hydro testing of piping or tanks to be avoided or is possible only after getting confirmation from site incharge.
h. Item includes cleaning of Pipeline after hydrotesting with compressed air / Cardboard Blasting as directed by Site in-Charge for fully draining of water / debris from the Pipeline. Also, cleaning of Pipeline to be carried out before/ during commissioning with product at no extra cost as per direction of Site in-Charge.
i. Rate is inclusive of U Clamps wherever required. | - | - | - | - |
