Farmer`s Land required on an average of 20 Mtr. wide strip along pipeline for working space and execution of pipeline works. For use of private land required for laying of pipes, movement and operation of cranes, excavators, vehicles and other machinery, storage of excavated earth and execution of connected works. The contractor shall be solely responsible for payment of compensation, if any, towrds damamge to standing crops, trees etc and for obtaining temporary occupation etc. complete in all respects as per site conditions and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Pushing of MS casing pipe of specified thickness by trenchless method adopting micro-tunnelling or any suitable mechanical technology or technology approved by Railway below ground at all depth under running traffic condition as per railway standard including carrying out survey work at the job site for determining underground cable trenches like telephone, cable, water and sanitary lines and resistivity test for finding the soil strata using necessary equipment’s for completion of works, mobilizing of machineries and specialized crew at the job site complete in all respect, including excavation of driven pit and exit pit (upto 3 metre depth) with proper protection at three sites with shoring sheets and ISMB`s. Providing MS cutting edges for front shield and Constructing thrust bed at designated level. Necessary de-watering and providing concrete foundation at the base of the driven pit, PVC/Rubber saddle as per the requirement of Railway Authority, crane for handing of pipe and any other machinery, tools, and tackles required, construction of temporary works as per requirement and as per approved by railway authorities, specification and the direction of the Engineer. Note- 1. Manual Pipe jacking is not permitted for workmen safety reasons. 2. Length of pipe shall be measured in between the outer wall of two manholes / Inspection chambers. Providing comprehensive insurance coverage for Ductile Iron (DI) pipes of dia 900mm and length 6300 m and allied materials against all risks including fire, theft, burglary,transit, natural calamities and other unforeseen risks, including payment of insurance premium, policy charges and all incidental expenses, valid from the time of delivery at site/store up to installation and commissioning of the pipeline, complete as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Actual amount payable shall be lesser of quoted or actual insurance paid.

Providing all necessary arrangements for temporary storage and safe stacking of Ductile Iron (DI) pipes and allied materials including obtaining necessary permissions from land owners and statutory authorities by establishing a properly fenced, secured and maintained temporary stockyard, including arrangement ofland on patta/lease basis from farmers, site clearance and preparation,stacking platforms, internal access, and providing adequate watch and ward (chowkidari) round the clock, including all incidental charges, during execution of work or entire duration, complete till the pipes are safely stored and issued for laying, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
