CD VIII division and Survey reports are available in the office of Executive Engineer CDVIII at Sector 15 Rohini for Perusal, Yet the Contractor is Advised to have both these surveys repeated for his satisfaction). Soil investigation for design of structural elements, assessment of Grey water and Runoff from the catchment area which includes built up areas and open spaces along the proposed drain. Hydraulic Design of the Drain based on the RELEVENT MANUALS & CODES including arriving at a most economical section sufficient to carry discharge of catchment area, based on parameters as given in this Bid Document Structural design & Drawings (Confirming to RELEVENT CODES AND MANUALS) of Precast Segments/cast in situ segments/trenchless drain including other allied works, Sluice Gate and its chamber at the Tail/Outfall in to Supplementary Drain, including outfall apron on the banks of supplementary drain for an Overall Approx. length of 2260 Mtrs. of the drain. Provisioning and design of Inspection chambers with heavy Duty Manhole Covers of SFRC, including provisions of safety facilities necessary for de-silting of drain as and when necessary. Vetting of Hydraulic Design and Structural design of all proposed elements of the construction by IIT /NIT. Dismantling of the Existing drain along the length of the proposed drain, including disposal of the dismantled material at a designated place, Earth work Excavation in all types of soil to lay the Precast Sections in place as per the approved design And slopes including its disposal, safety measures to ensure safety of general public but not excluding the manpower of the contractor and department, third party insurance cover for the complete job for men, machinery and material involved in construction, Casting of precast segments as per approved design in a casting yard, ( The Land for casting yard will be organised by the contractor) Carriage of Precast Sections to the site, lowering of precast Sections in to the excavated Trenches including Joining the sections and treating the joints as per provisions of the approved design. Cast in situ Reinforced Cement concrete section including casting of Mud Mats and it’s Shuttering, Bar bending and placing in position the reinforcement bars as per the approved design, shuttering and scaffolding, including de- shuttering and removing the scaffolding, rendering the concrete surfaces rendering the honeycombing observed on the concrete surface as per the codal provisions/ standard engineering practices. Due to restricted corridors at places trench-less Technology may be required to push the pre-cast elements, the contractor will have to undertake this for which nothing extra will be paid by the department. Construction of concrete or brick masonry inspection chambers with heavy duty manhole covers including rendering the internal as well as external surfaces by 1:4 cement sand mortar also having provision of a safe manual inspection. Construction of connection manholes with covers and gratings for the outfalls of the open or covered drains of the catchment area in to this diversion drain. Construction testing and commissioning of all Civil, Mechanical & Electrical elements as per approved design based on parameters given in this tender document including outfall structures, Sluice Gate chamber at the out fall and other allied works.
