Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited required) and other intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the technical specification clause 302,1602, 1603 sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/ or labour if required. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. Recovery of useful stone for 1484.15cum (One thousand four hundred eighty four point one five cubic metre) shall be made on prorata basis @ Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) per cubic metre. In each running bill for this item.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification 2014 clause 305 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing plain concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundations complete as per drawings nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded crushed stone) aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size including cost of form work and curing complete with out plum as per HP:PWD., specification complete in all respect including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with power spalls and consolidating with power road roller to requisite gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of hinding material moorum earth etc. complete as per HP:PWD., specifications as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Manufacturing, laying of cement blocks of size 0.450mmx0.300mmx0.15mm (zero point four five zero millimeters into zero point three zero zero millimeters into zero point one five millimeters) of cement concrete (C.C) M-30(M-thirty) grade and spreading 25mm (twenty five millimeters) thick sand under neath and filling joints with sand on existing W.B.M. base as per technical specification clause 1503 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface with scarifying machine upto a depth of 150 mm (one hundred fifty milimetre) and disposal of scarified material as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and as per technical specification clause 301.4carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Construction of Gravel/soil aggregate base/sub base by providing well graded material nominal size maximum size grading 40mm (forty millimetre) as per table 2.3 IRC SP 77-2008 spreading in uniform layers with Tractor mount appropriate grading arrangements on prepared surface, mixing by mix place method at OMC with Tractor mount appropriate rotavator attachment and compaction with three wheel 80-100KN static roller capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specification contained in Para 2.2,3.6 and 3.7 of IRC SP-77 2008 and as per MORD technical specification 2014 clause 402 and as per dirction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. Rolling with three wheel 80-100Kn (eighty-hundred) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber. Applying and brooming. Stone screening binding materialsof sixe 11.2 (eleven point two millimetre ) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 cum (zero point two zero cubic metre ) and binding material at the rate of 0.06 (zero point zero six cubic metre) to fillup the interstices of coarse aggregate. watering and compacting to the required density grading-II as per technical specification clause 405. by meachnical means as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification MORD 2014 clause 406 including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN ( eighty to hundred )weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etcetera as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70-1.00 kilogram (zero point seven zero to one point zero kilogram) per square metre using mechanical means as per MORD technical specification 2014 clause –502 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 50 mm( Fifty Millimeter) thick bituminous macadam using Bitumen VG-30 (thirty ) with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto all leads laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per MORD Technical Specification 2014 Clause 504 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg.( zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogram) per square metre on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm(Twenty millimetre) compacted thickness composed of Type –A 13.2mm (thirteen point two millimetre ) to 5.6mm ( five point six millimetre) aggregate at the rate of 0.27 cum ( zero point two seven cubic metre) mixed with VG-30 bitumen at the rate of 14.6kg. ( fourteen point six kilogram) per ten square metre of road surface to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in a suitable plant, laying with paver finisher and rolling with a three wheel 80-100KN static capacity road roller finished to required level and grade to be followed by seal coat as per technical specification clause 508 including carriage of material with in all lead and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge . Providing and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in bituminous surface laid to specified levels grade and cross fall using type-B as per MORD technical specification 2014 clause 508 VG-30 bitumen at the rate of 6.8 kg. ( six point eight kilogram) premix with 0.06cum (zero point zero six cubic metre) of fine aggregate per 10 sqm. (per ten square metre ) heated in mini hot mix plant and laying mechanically of mixed material and rolling with power road roller 8-10 ( eight to ten ) capacity as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material with in all leads and lift and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.
