SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Dismantling brick/PCC terracing tiles single layer in roof laid and pointed in cement mortar and removing/disposal off from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leaping (whether full thickness removed or only a part there of) including removing/cutting uprooting grass, vegetations and roots of small plants etc on roof floor and surrounding/parapit wall etc, including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for cleaning of top surfaces of concrete roof slab, lime terracing, or surface of tiles with wire brush including flashing and junction of parapets etc., and surface painting with layer of blown grade bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.2 Kg per Sqm and rendering in 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6), priming the surface @ 0.30 Kg per Sqm and laying 3mm thick APP based polymer membrane of weighing not less than 3.5 Kg per Sqm reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weight not less than 150 Gm per Sqm) laid on primed surfaces at by torch application with side overlap 75mm and end overlap 100mm and tucked into the chases a treatment for moderate condition, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for lime concrete terracing using brick aggregate and surkhi as specified in clause 11.11 and laying as specified in clause 11.27 of MES Sch Part-I (2009) minimum thickness at edge 40mm and increasing uniformly towards ridges to obtain a chain slope 1:40, the top shall be trowelled with the addition of jaggery solution and finished smooth complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for 40mm thick brick tiles laid/bedded on screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6), on existing lime concrete surfaces of roof, joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with liquid WPC @ 200ml per bag of cement of 50kg and including flush pointing as work proceed with same material complete all as specified in clause 11.27.3 of MES Sch Part-I (2009) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only)

Material and labour for 40mm thick brick tiles (old serviceable tiles obtained from demolition/dismantled item shall be reused) laid/bedded on screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6), on existing lime concrete surfaces of roof, joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with liquid WPC @ 200ml per bag of cement of 50kg and including flush pointing as work proceed with same material complete all as specified in clause 11.27.3 of MES Sch Part-I (2009) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only)

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) Type B0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in roof kerb (golla) or mud stops, side of roof sheet & similar work etc rounded or chamfered on edges including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for flush pointing to brick tiles laid flat in cement mortar 1:4 including racking out joints and pointing to brick tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster from brick wall etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks (old serviceable bricks obtained from demolition/dismantled item shall be reused ) straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for plastering 15mm thick on external surface of brick work or concrete surface at any story or any height in cement mortar (1:4), finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of floor hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding but not backing including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor/plinth surface by picking and prepare the surface to receive the PCC, sweeping cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 450mmX 350mm/ 450mmX 300mm, 7mm to 8mm thick, as in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 10 mm thick (Av thickness) bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 300mmx 200mm, 7mm to 8mm thick, as in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 10 mm thick (Av thickness) bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of bricks, PCC tiles, interlocking tiles laid flat of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc. laid dry or laid dry and pointed in any mortar including removing rubbish material from the site including taking out existing fine sand cleaning the surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 60 mm thick (M35 grade) precast interlocking tile/paving block factory casted (made by using PVC paver mould / Rubber paver moulds on Vibrating Table Machine) using grey cement and no pigment, shape haxagon / trigular / zigzag / I-shaped etc, as directed, prepolished & preglazed, specification as per relevant IS, having compressive strength not less than 350 Kg/ Sqcm, laid over sand upto required thick layer and filling the interstices etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Sand for filling shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only but labour for spreding leveling shall be included in the unit rate of this item)

Supply only fine sand without silt (Fazilka/Zera or any other approved sources) for filling under interlocking tiles and the interstices etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping/packing around chequered tiles/interlocking tiles/PCC jalli & similar work etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in repairs vitreous china wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern, EWC) white clour (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to drain and to flushing pipe anti syphonage etc., including plastic water closet seat with cover (white clour) closed pattern with flat bottom and mild steel chromium plated or aluminised hinging device including stainless steel chromium plated jet spray with 01 mtr long PVC pipe with CP connector and necessary nut bolts and with necessary CP screws and plug for fixing WC complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement plastic water closet seat cover (black / white colour) closed pattern with flat bottom/recessed bottom and mild steel chromium plated or aluminised hinging device complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing in repair/replacement 18-20mm thick block board (grade 2, interior grade quality), commercial type fixed with screws/nails/fevicol including cutting and made to shape as required including taking out old unserviceable board any type complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing plain fillets made from second class soft wood square, rectangular or trangular in section, clean sawn, sectional area exc 3 sqcm and n exc 6 sqcm fixed to timber frame with nails complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing Continuous (piano) hinges, mild steel, bright finish or electro galvanised, width of flap when open 30mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Supply & fixing drawer pulls 3 screw plate with fixed dished pull 80mm to 100mm long brass, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Supply & fixing in repair vitreous China squatting pan 'Orissa' pattern white of size 580mmx440mm with integral foot rests (excluding flushing cistern, flush pipe above floor and trap), including demolation of tile, PCC, taking out old WC, taking out lime concrete filling and after fixing new WC re filling lime concrete (1 lime, 2 sand or surkhi and 5 aggretate), min. 150mm thick all round and finished just below level of rim of pan to receive the floor finishing, including fixing PVC flush pipe upto finished floor level, joints of flush pipe and trap make leakproof and testing before filling concrete and including all other connected work as required upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. (NOTE : Tile work with screed shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

Supply & fixing in replacement vitreous china wash basin, white, flat back of size 550mm x 400mm, including 32mm chromium plated waste coupling and PVC waste pipe including bracket and cutting for and pinning in end of bracket or erecting including fixing only pillar tap (new or serviceable old pillar tap as per site condition ) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Pillar tap if required in replacement, shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.)

Supply and fixing in replacement 10 litres capacity PVC valveless syphonic action type low level flushing cistern white with inlet, ball valve, float, handle including brackets and 32mm dia PVC flush pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement stainless steel sink made out of 1.00mm thick sheet, kitchen or laboratory with plugs, washers, waste pipe including bedding in cement mortar to dwarf wall or fixing with cast iron cantilever brackets and connecting union to waste pipe; overall size 495mm x 420mm with bowl size 410mm x 330mm x 160mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable PVC water storage tanks capacity exceed 250 litre but not exceed 500 litre of any description, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable PVC water storage tanks capacity exceed 500 litre but not exceed 1000 litre of any description, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other mean, washing down with water and applying two coats of cement base paint as per approved tint/colour by using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up or down existing galvanised steel water/KITEC tubing (GI pipe) 15mm bore including fitting/connection from wall/ceiling/floor/concealed etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Re-fixing old serviceable 15mm bore galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe) including all fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. in new or old portion/position to walls, ceiling and laid in floor/concealed in walls etc and making good disturbed surfaces of walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Old serviceable pipe and fittings obtained from taking up or down (here-in-before) item of this BOQ shall be reused after necessary cleaning internally.

Re-fixing old serviceable 20mm bore galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe) including all fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. in new or old portion/position to walls, ceiling and laid in floor/concealed in walls etc and making good disturbed surfaces of walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Old serviceable pipe and fittings obtained from taking up or down (here-in-before) item of this BOQ shall be reused after necessary cleaning internally.

Supply & fixing in repair 450 mm long PVC connection 15mm size with PTMT nuts complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in repair concealed stop cock cast copper alloy, chromium plated, fancy type, long shank and cup, screwed both ends suitable for 15mm bore iron pipe complete, all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of stop valve/stop cock shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing in repair pillar tap cast copper alloy with capstan head, chromium plated, screwed down high pressure with or without lettered 'Hot' or 'Cold' with long screwed shank and fly nuts screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete, all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of tap shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS

Supply & fixing in repair cromium plated shower rose 125mm size, with or without swivel joints, any size, including fixing to steel pipe or union complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement brass chromium plated tubular towel rail 20mm dia 'D' type, 600mm long between flanges fixed to plug , bracket with chromium plated brass screws complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair ball valves, high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball (polythene float) complete, screwed suitable for 20mm bore iron pipe complete all specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of ball valve shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames, wooden/PVC doors/steel ventilator) area not exceeding 1.50 sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area exceeding 1.50 sqm but not exceeding 4 Sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Taking down wooden shutters only of any description area exceeding 1.0 sqm and not exceeding 2.0 sqm each and removing from site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Note :- Weight of aluminium section/aluminium channel shall be physically ascertained through a board of officers convened by Accepting officer and payment shall be made only after the actual weight at site.

Supply & fixing anodised aluminium door shutter, made out of aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/mtr, powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) including aluminium hardware i.e. necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, suitable size of aluminium handles 2 Nos and aluminium hinges 04 Nos in each leaf (size of handle and hinge as directed), anodised aluminium snap beading, screws etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Aluminium chowkhat frame shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ as supply and fixing. (ii) Glass and other filling material in panels shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply & fixing 5.5mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality in squares exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane (for new door/window) and fixed in any type of doors/windows/ventilators with wooden bead/pin tacked/with oil putty etc. as required or as directed including cutting of glass as per site requirement complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing aluminium (extruded section) body door closer hydraulically regulated, designation No 3, universal type suitable for door shutter of 851 to 1000mm in width and weight between 61 to 80 Kg, ISI marked complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing factory made 105 x 60mm pressed steel frames, thickness of sheet 1.25mm for doors with one or more rebates including supply and fixing necessary lugs and lock strike plate, etc. , including fixing butt hinges suitable Nos as directed for each leaf, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) Butt hinges shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply and fixing factory made 125 x 60mm pressed steel frames, thickness of sheet 1.25mm for doors with one or more rebates including supply and fixing necessary lugs and lock strike plate, etc. , including fixing butt hinges suitable Nos as directed for each leaf, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) Butt hinges shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply & fixing factory made plain framed panelled shutters (two panels as approved), 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood with lock rail and panel inserts of 12mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rails and styles as per IS-1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401, including 2nd class soft wood kail beading 20mm wide tapering from 10mm to 5mm on one side and also fitted to chowkhat complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) The sutters shall be brought at site without primer and same shall be applying at site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Primer shall be measured paid separately under appropriate item (painting) of BOQ.

Supply & fixing factory made glazed and skeleton shutter, 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood open rebated (two panels as approved) and prepared to receive glass, gauge etc., without sash bars, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc. Sizes of members as specified in SSR Part-I, Section 8 and fitted to chowkhats, members shall be kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) The sutters shall be brought at site without primer and same shall be applying at site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Primer shall be measured paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply and fixing Solid PVC Door Frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with M.S. Square tube, suppling & fixing in opening as per specification & drawing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded / sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, suppling & fixing in the frame at site as per specification & drawing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repair glass corner shelf with bracket chromium plated boundary fixed to wall with screws, complete with necessary fittings, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Demolition of cement concrete reinforced of any discription and in any position, like roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas, fins, facia and similar suspended works, including reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition and prepare the surface to casting chajja, slabs, fins, facia etc and including removing rubbish material from site and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) (nominal mix) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in chajjas, beams, staircases, landing, fins, facia and similar suspended works complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTE : Reinforcement and form work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 6 mm to 8mm dia cut to length bent to shape, required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTE : Weight of binding wire shall not be considered for measurement and payment purpose.)

Form work to chullah hoods, chajjas, trough and similar items including edges rough finished flat surfaces complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in flooring, hard standing, plinth protection/path etc. finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level of any description and in any position including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
