REPAIR / MAINT OF TRANSFORMER HV /LV SIDE, HT CABLE AND CONNECTED ASSESSORIES AT TECH AREA AT AF STN TUGHLAKABAD UNDER GE (AF) TUGHLAKABAD

Disconnecting both ends of the faulty HT cables of any size , and isolating from panel , bringing the HT fault finding machine to site to pinpoint the location of occurance of fault , connecting one end of the HT cable to the machine , energising the cable giving high voltage through the machine to locating the fault , after locating the fault , de-engergise the cable using earth rod ,remove the ends of cable from the machine, Excavating the cable at the fault location & pinpoint the fault, repairing the cable using cable jointing kits and by adding extra HT cable if required at site, jopinting the cables as before to the panel and testing complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :-i) Fault finding machine, necessary excavation and earth work, as reuired at site T&P, labour element are included in the quoted rates. (ii) HT joints / HT cable same size (if reqd) will be measured & paid under respective item of schedule. iii) The contractor shall bring the fault locating equipment at site with in 02 hours of instruction received from Engineer-in-charge and he shall ensure that the fault is rectified with in 24 hours of receipt of intimation from Engineer-in-charge failing which recovery of Rs 500 per hour shall be recovered from the contractor dues w.e.f the time immediately after the expiry of 24 hours duriation. For the purpose of payment one unit of éach job'shall comprise of detection of faults in a particular stretch of cable which are identified in that particular stretch, irrespective of number of defects/faults shall be considered as one unit.

Painting of transformer after cleaning the body surface of transformer by rubbing with emery Paper to remove oil stains, dust etc and applying one coat of snthetic enamel paint by spray painting the capacity of transformer are as under:-

60 KVA to 400 KVA

500 to 1000 KVA

Dehydration and filtration of the existing transformer/servo voltage stablizer oil by dehydration plant in running condition to achieve di-electric strength of 40 KV at the gap of 2.5 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.(Dehydration plant shall be provided/brought at site by the contractor) and shall also include the following provisions :- a) Testing of transformer /servo voltage stablizer oil before & after dehydration shall be carried out as directed. (b) Contractor will maintain a register of dehydration and filtration of each and every eqpt as per format given by Engr-in-charge and submit the same to Engr-in-charge.

Supply and filling transformer oil for topping up of min BDV 50 KV or replacement in different existing transformers outdoor/indoors type of any capacity located and installed at different places and different height complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. Note: - Transformer Oil:- The entire quantity of transformer oil shall be procured in sealed contaner

Supply and replacement of dehydrating agents (Silca gel) in transformers of capacity upto 1000 KVA transformer outdoor/indoor type complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Disconnecting of HT/LT connection including earthing strips from 11/0.433 KV indoor/outdoor transformer of following capacity after taking shut down from Engr-in-charge and follwing all safety precaution and taking down ( if mounted on four pole structure ) or taking out ( installed in indoor substation ) with help of suitable crane and transporting to approved workshop and back after repair/ rewinding and installing at original location and reconnecting HT/LT connection including earthing and testing commissioning complete all as specified and directed

M&L for dismantling of transformer 11/0.433 KV at approved workshop and taking out defective core and replacement of HT/LT copper winding with super enamelled copper wire of original size and including necessary cotton insulating tape, saperator,nut bolts of suitable size and dehydration of transformer oil and topping up of deficient transformer oil and replacement of defective parts like bushing, tap changers, gaskets etc(copper wire transformer oil and other accessries will be measured and paid saperately in respective items) but cost of saperator, insulating cotton tape and nut, bolt are included in item rate.

Supply and replacement of LT bushing (Brass stud and bolts with porcelian insulator) suitable size to fixed the transformer capacity range 60 to 400 KVA including replacement of gasket , cable glands, etc to make the transformer leak proof complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply and replacement of LT bushing (Brass stud and bolts with porcelian insulator) suitable size to fixed the transformer capacity range 500 to 1000 KVA including replacement of gasket , cable glands, etc to make the transformer leak proof complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply and fix in replacement ceramic bushing and Gasket on LT side of transformer of following capacities

M&L for replacement of worn out off load tap changer set and connecting with existing windig to match the ratio of tap position all as per existing sample suitable for transformers of capacity 100 to 400 KVA all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement for oil temperature gauge suitable for any size of transformers all as per existing shape and size for any make and model transformers all as specified and directed incl taking out old gauge all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for painting to existing LT panels, indoor/outdoor type installed at various PWs with one coat of super enameled paint of approved colour on exposed surface including preparation of surfaces all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for maintenance to existing LT panels, indoor/outdoor type installed at various PWs , installation using suitable welding machine for LT panel, replacement of door hinges, nuts & bolts, door beaders/ gaskets, panel locks, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting the ends of the HT/LT underground/duct cable and taking out the unserviceable cable of any size all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc 1.50 mtrs wide and not exc. 1.5 mtr deep and getting out for taking out/laying cable pole &stay etc including taking out old precast concrete cover complete. Note - If damage during excavation (such as the pressure pipe line, electric cable HT/LT, water pipe line, fire hydrant pipe line AF net etc) repair the same day and restore the supply without any extra cost and making good the disturbed surface all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

M&L for sand cushioning (dry sand) to underground cable for cable protection laid in trenches / in existing cable ducts complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. Note: For payment point of view, compacted thickness of sand shall be measured.

M&L in replacement for brick, subclass 'B' well burnt, of size 230x115x75 mm laid dry flat in trenches for protection of cable over LT cable, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Cutting removing the vegetation growth and surface dressing all around the installation yard including two pole structure areas, around power house, substation (external only) to keep always installation clean and tidy all as specified and as directed.

M&L for shifting of transformer from platform to vehicle with the help of crane and loading to vehicle. The transformer to be shifted to other location as required , cleaning the transformer completly, replaceing the top cover gasket , wahser & seal ring of terminals testing the transformer on load and checking for any leaks, connecting the HT/LT cables and testing on load of capacity upto 750 KVA all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) the quoted rates are inclusive of lifting ,loading ,transportation, gaskets, seal rings, nuts, bolts etc.

M & L for mild steel plates Fe-410-W (Gde -E-250) plain or chequered as in duct covers including cutting , fabricate, cut to existing sizes including taking out the rusted plates all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement capacitors metalized poly propylene heavy duty (MPP-H) for 3 phase 440V , 50 Hz system for permissible non-linear load of 5 to 15 kVAr rating including taking down unserviceable capacitor all as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement capacitors metalized poly propylene heavy duty (MPP-H) for 3 phase 440V , 50 Hz system for permissible non-linear load of 20 to 25 kVAr rating including taking down unserviceable capacitor all as directed.

S&F in replacement of danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S.clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20x15cm size.

Supply and fix in replacement of root indicator of HT and LT cable with capacity and location of plate size 20cmx20cmx3mm made of GI plate with angle iron 20mmx20mm and 60cm long. Note PCC work shall be measured and paid separetly.
