Provision of ESE Lightning arrester for Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses under Chennai Directorate.

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 3 mm copper strip (electrolytic grade copper )on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required. Laying from tower top ESE Lightning arrester unit to bottom of Lighthouse tower (Qty required: Mallipattinam :80Mtrs, Ammapattinam:80Mtrs, Passipattinam:80Mtrs, Pamban :45Mtrs and Karaikal Lighthouse station: 45Mtrs).

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick (electrolytic grade copper ) including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long & 40mm dia GI pipe etc. with charcoal / coke and salt as required.(For Lightning arrester) IS 2309 1969: Code of practice for the protection of building and allied structures against lightning. (Two nos. of plate earthings for each Lighthouse ie Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses).

Supply and fixing of 4 way 25mm x 3mm x 165mm copper bus bar on surface with accessories such as insulator, SS bolts etc for connecting parallel of two Nos. of plate earthings. (For Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses).

Supply of Early Streamer Emission (ESE) Lightning conductor suitable to fix on the top of the 45M height lighthouse tower protection level -III. Equipped with Stainless central pick up rod. Full electrical continuity between the tip and the earth point. Fully autonomous (no battery, no external power supply required) Collect energy through streamer emission controlled with detects the lightning and trigger a streamer The ESE shall cover the area of approximately 80 mtrs. Radius. Manufactured as per CPRI Requirements & amp; as per Indian standard. The lightning conductor shall withstand minimum current of limp- ≥200kA (For Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses).

The Lightning arrester mast (Total Height ; 8 Mtrs) of for Helios / Helios Bolt used for Cemented Flat surface Installation with Circular Base Plate having main Pipe of GI length 6000mm with Outer diameter as 60mm & Thickness as 4.5 mm. Top pipe of length 2250mm having outer diameter as 48 mm and thickness as 3.2 mm is connected via flange joint with main pipe. Top pipe goes 250mm inside main pipe through flange joint for better stability. Bottom Plate of diameter 220 mm & having thickness as 10 mm is welded directly with the pipe to form a single piece without any joint for stability at bottom. Gusset Plates are welded as a supporting feature between bottom plate and main pipe. The Bottom Plate is furnished with 4 nos of 16mm dia Holes for securing the mast on the Cemented flat surface. Made of material is G.I ; At top of mast insulation is provided from lightning Arrester via Derlyn Mast Coupler (MC); The total height of mast is 8000mm. Necessary provisions shall be provided for stay wire termination. The pole shall withstand salty atmosphere and wind speed of 150km/hr. (For Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses).

Supply of 6mm / 304 Grade SS stay wire for tieing and holding the Lightning arrester mast. (For Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses).

Stainless Steel 304 grade Wire Rope Clamps Ideal for Wire rope Rigging, Fitting, Lifting Rope, Connecting Rope Fitting ( 40 nos. for each Lighthouse).

Supply and fixing of IP 67 contactless Digital counter for recording the lightning flashes. Max Reading : 9999 9999 Does not require a power source Minimum Current ( I min) : 1KA Light weight & easy to install Certified & Tested by CPRI Bangalore | Only Lightning Impulse Counter - It Can be coupled with both i.e., Conventional LAs as well as ESE Type LAs

Supply of 25mm heat shirnkable sleeve (tube) for covering the down conductor 25mm x3mm copper tape.

Supply of DMC insulator with 2 Nos. of SS bolts 7 nuts suitable to run the down conductor from tower top to bottom at the distance of 1.5 feet each. (Mallipattinam : 80 nos., ammapattinam : 80 nos. Passipattinam :80Nos., Pamban: 45 nos. and Karaikal Lighthouse station : 45 Nos.

Supply and fixing of Test link box at bottom of lighthouse tower for easy isolation of earth tape and plate earth for testing the earth value. ( PVC)(Test link point should be copper strip with brase bolt and nut)

Installation of ESE Lightning arrester, Erection of elevation pole (lightning arrester mast), by making foundation in 1: 1 ½ : 3 concrete ratio, stay wire termination, down rod connection from ESE equipment etc. complete.(For Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses).

Providing and fixing of additional 6 feet Triangle GI support to the mast pipe with hand rail using 40mm GI ‘C’ class pipe and heavy duty pipe clamp with SS bolt and nut for withstand the heavy wind speed of 150Km/hr inclusive of Material, labour etc (For Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses).

Charges for inserting heat shirnk sleeve on 25x3mm copper tape and Shirnking the same by applying heat.

refer Sl No.2 Making earth pit charges(additional charges) for plate earthing Lighthouse located near sea area difficult to digging earth pit upto 10 feet due to removing the collapsing sand and removing the water seep (for plate earthing). (Cost including of shoring, removing of collapsed sand/ soil, dewatering etc. from the pit.)

Double coat of Zinc chromate primer and double coat of Aluminium paint for lighting arrester mast and additional triangular support (For Mallipattinam, Ammapattinam, Passipattinam, Pamban and Karaikal Lighthouses). ( Inclusive of Materials and Labour cost etc).

Miscellaneous items for the of S.S screws, SS washer, bolt & nut, insulation tape , Fishers (wall plug), foundation bolts, etc..

Packing and Transportation of materials such as copper tape, copper plate, Lightning arrester mast, stay wires, accessories etc to Karaikal Lighthouse.
