Scarifying metalled (water-bound) road surface including disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, including cleaning and preparing the existing surfaces to remove all loose dirt etc from unsurfaced water bound macadam / road surface as per specifications on bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg / sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) including applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in batch type hot mix plant of 100-120 TPH capacity complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity semi- dense Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully / semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Providing and fixing glow studs of size 100 x 20mm made of heavy duty body, shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, the glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side, the luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973, the studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer, including removal of unserviceable studs and complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) be of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufactures instructions etc and including removal of unserviceable cat eyes complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and fixing post delineators made of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 100 mm dia high reflective reflectors and mounted on MS pipe of 65 mm dia duly powder coated anti-rust and anti theft steel to be installed as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including removal of unserviceable delineators.

Providing and fixing for round glass road safety convex mirror of over all size 600mm with orange colour PVC frame and black colour painted 50mm dia MS post with 6ft pole including fixing with PCC 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and including removal of unserviceable convex mirror complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolishing cement concrete any description manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M-30 grade, in roads / taxi tracks / runways, using cement content as per design mix, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per approved and specified design criteria, providing dowel bars with sleeve / tie bars wherever required, laying at site, spreading and compacting mechanically by using needle and surface vibrators, levelling to required slope / camber, finishing with required texture, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing, making provision for contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints (25 mm wide x 50 mm deep) at every 3m transfer by groove cutting machine, providing and filling joints with approved joint filler and sealants, complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE :- (i) Item of joint fillers, sealants, dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars to be paid separately. (ii) Cement concrete shall be manufactured in automatic batching plant (RMC plant)rate quoted shall be including transportation to site in transit mixer.

Material and labour for filling sealing compound including polyethylene rod in expansion joints by raking end using blow lamp and cleaning of expansion joints of concrete pavement free from dust applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give a neat finish to the sealant, provision of polyethylene backup rod 30mm dia in expansion joint and sealed with COLPOR 200 polyurethane based sealing compound confirming to BS 5212 1990-0 and BS -4254 and EN-141875-2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) or equivalent of approved colour after application of suitable primer and removing the masking tape after the sealant filling etc complete for expansion joint 25mm wide all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, flooring, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rolled mild steel structural steel work, riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for finishing with painting to steel work with deluxe multi surface paint to give an even shade of approved tint with two or more coats applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm over an under coat of primer applied @ 0.80 ltr/10 sqm of approved brand and manufacture complete all as specified and as directed.

Disposal of moorum / building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for lead upto 10 KM for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE :- Item to be applicable in urban areas having directions for restricted hours for movement / plying of load carrying motor vehicle of 3.5 cum or more.
