Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Silent Diesel Engine driven generating set 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, engine as per ISO 3046,BS 5514 and Alternator as per IS 4722/BS 5000, complete with relay panel and switch gears alongwith automatic starting on main failure, control panel having meter and sound proof canopy as per CPCB4+ norms and foundation etc. of capacity 60 KVA and complete all as specified and directed.

ACCESSORIES:- The following accessories will be supplied alongwith the DG set:- (i) Suitable capacity fuel tank for running continuously 8 hrs. The fuel tank will be mounted inside the conopy with connections. (ii) Anti vibration mounting pad (mounted inside the conopy). (iii) Residential silencer (fitted on top of conopy) (iv) Exide 12 volt battery with lead (v) First filled of lube oil & coolant. MICROPROCESSOR BASED AMF CONTROL PANEL The AMF Control panel shall be made of 16SWG CRCA Sheet, indoor type, dust and vermin proof, Pre-Treated and Powder coated, suitable for 415 V, 3Phase, 50Hz system to be fitted inside Acoustic Enclosure.Panel shall consist of the following Equipment‟s:- (i) Microprocessor based AMF Controller with display features for Engine & Alternator parameters. (ii) Current Transformers of suitable ratio. (iii) MCB/HRC Fuse for Control protection. (iv) Cluster Type Indicating Lamps for DG ON/Load ON/Mains ON. (v) MCCB of Suitable Rating -1 Set with 2 Sets of Power Contactor – For Mains & DG Incomer. (vi) FRLS Type Copper Flexible cable for Switchgear Interconnections. (vii) Suitably rated Auxiliary Contactors/Relays. (viii) Earth Studs. (ix) Battery Charger (x) Electronic Voltage Regulator(EVR)

ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE Acoustic enclosure shall be made of specially procured CRCA Sheet and structural sheet metal Base frame and comply with CPCB-IV+ norms with following features : (i) The most compact, six sided close, modular construction and detachable. (ii) Meet CPCB-IV+ / MOEF norms. (iii) Sound level < 75 dBA at one meter distance. (iv) Easy accessibility around the DG Set, which ensures optimum serviceability. (v) Special power coated enclosure, weather proof, corrosion resistant, environment friendly. (vi) Specially designed lifting hooks. (vii) Use of high quality hardware ensures longer life of enclosure. (viii) Provision for emergency stop facility. (ix) Fuel tank is specially designed and mounted inside of the enclosure as a integral part of Acoustic enclosure. Note : Apart from above cost of the following provisions shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rate:- (i) Dismantling of Old BER DG Sets alongwith its connected cables and the same shall be deposited to MES store for further disposal. (ii) Necessary civil work for foundation as per manufacturer instructions. (iii) Anything technically required for installation of DG set, if missing above, is incl in the quoted rate.

Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with galvanised iron strip of 32 x 6mm size by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 40mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to rest point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department.

Supply and laying under ground XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (Heavy duty) armoured 1100 volts grade aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches or fixed to wall / pole / ceiling as per IS 7098 (Part I) including connection cable glands, aluminium lugs etc including taking down of existing unserviceable cable complete all as specified and as directed.
