Taking down the unservicable /brunt sub main wiring from wooden batten and M & L for submain wiring in and including PVC conduit 1.8 mm thick ,20 mm dia with two run of PVC insulated, unsheathed multistranded copper conductor of 4 sqmm(FRLS) and one run of PVC insulated,unsheathed multistranded copper conductor 4 sqmm (green in colour) for earth continuity conductor and connected to common earth dolly with thimble etc, complete all as specified and directed. (Two run of 4 sqmm plus one run 4 sqmm of earth wire will be measured as 1RM) Note: (a) Insulation test of point wiring (b) colour coding is to be maintained .(Ph-Red, N-Black,Earth- Green)(Make of 4 sqmm copper wire: Havells or technocommerically equivalant make of Grandlay/Finolex.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of XLPE cable any type of soil all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning and filling in incl spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft / disintegrated rock all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated surplus spoil /rocks at a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr from the starting point all as directed.

Sand cushioning for cable in trenches of thickness 8 cms below and 15 cms above the cable all as specified and directed By Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Well burnt sub class 'B' bricks for protection of cable laying flat across and perpendicular to the length of cable all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 1100 volts grade XLPE heavy duty cable, 25sqmm 4 core, PVC insulated wire armoured Aluminium stranded conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed laid in tranches all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode, 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick, buried directly in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal (ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below ground level connected to galvanized iron wire 4mm dia as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts and washers of GI up to test point, GI tubing 15mm bore light grade protection pipe, GI watering pipe 20mm bore medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, charcoal and salt, 40mm thick pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (Nominal mix) cover reinforced with XPM (weighing n.less than 4 Kg/Sqm) with suitable steel handle, and angle iron 40X40X3mm frame and chamber of PCC (1:3:6) type C-0 (including earth work in any type of soil, removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc.50m) and connecting, testing on completion, all as shown on electric plate No. 03 of SSR-2009 Part-I, complete all as directed. Notes: 1. Earth lead & protection pipes length upto & including 7.50 metre is included in the quoted rate. 2. Soil should be free from stone, boulders, aggregate, gravels etc.
