Specification for Digital burette (electronic) The burette will be electronic type and will have two components: 1. Bottle top burette 2. Touch screen control panel The Burette will be constructed with chemical resistant material The burette will be provided with amber colored window on demand to perform light-sensitive media titration. The burette should have adjustable dispensing tube in both horizontal and vertical directions. The burette should have telescopic filling tube to adjust the length depending on the depth of the bottle. Technical Specifications for Bottle top burette: 1. The bottle top burette should have motor-controlled piston movement. 2. There will be different speed modes a. Fast b. Medium c. Slow to control dispensing speeds and to facilitate accurate titrations. 3. Bottle top burette should be able to dispense a droplet as small as 0.01 ml to ensure highly accurate end point. 4. It will have re-circulation mode that allows quick purging without loss of reagent. to provide ease of use and save time, the burette should provide one-touch filling operation and refilling should be done without change in on-screen reading. 5. Capacity: 50 ml 6. Increment: 0.01 ml 7. Systematic Error: Precise titration with the error limits of Class A; ≤ 0.1% at nominal volume 8. Random Error: ≤0.02% at nominal volume 9. Technical Specifications of Touch screen control panel base unit The touch panel will have monochromatic or colored touch screen TFT display to show the readings. The panel will have interactive Graphical User Interface. It should have buttons like: Titrate, Fill, Stop, Purge and Tare (Zero Reset) to perform different operations. The panel will have separate button for ON/OFF. It will have rechargeable batteries. The batteries should preferably be present in a separate entity than the bottle top burette having the piston system arrangement. This would enable the user to change the batteries without affecting the accuracy or calibration of the instrument. Memory: 20 readings and Quick recall feature to show the last titration reading on the display screen.
