Schedule 'A' Part XVII (Miscellaneous items)

S&F for 15 mm Bib taps,with sensor system cast copper alloy fancy type chromium plated with flange screwed down screwed for iron pipe of 15mm bore.Make- Jaquar or equivalent approved by GE.(Cat part No. SNR-CHR-35019PM for reference) complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying laying in trenches jointing and testing DWCPE pipes(SN8) 200 OD/175 OD mm marked all as specified and directed.(Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid seprately under appropriate Item of Sch A)

S&F for PVC coated galvanized iron chain link fencing, made of GI wire dia not less than 3 mm, and minimum dia 4.5 mm after PVC coating, having any mesh size (mesh size as approved by GE) including line wire, any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc including provission of binding wire, fixed as knuckled type complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, separate the roots/grass and good earth by sieving with suitable sieve size , stacking of good earth & mixed with suitable manure of ratio 5:1 including supply of manure, screened through sieve of 1.5 designation 4.75 mm and spreading the mixture of good earth & manure , applying suitable pesticides , watering to a depth of 15cms, including removal of roots/grass out of site complete all as specified and directed by the Garrison Engineer

Material and Labour for developing Lawn by laying and dibbling of grass Stealers of 'DOOB GRASS' planting , roofing etc complete as approved and as directed by the Garrison engineer.

Supply & labour for developing and Planting of Bottle palm tree of height not less 4 feet including exavation in post holes of size 60 cm X 60 cm X 60 cm or according to the plant size and plant the trees straight inside the pit and fill up the pit with the earth along with inorganic fertilise manure (compost) in the proportion (3:1) and remove and spread the surplus excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Supply & labour for developing and Planting of Gulmohar tree (Delonix regia) of height not less 2 feet including exavation in post holes of size 60 cm X 60 cm X 60 cm or according to the plant size and plant the trees straight inside the pit and fill up the pit with the earth along with inorganic fertilise manure (compost) in the proportion (3:1) and remove and spread the surplus excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Supply & labour for developing and Planting of Amaltas tree (Cassia fistula) of height not less 2 feet including exavation in post holes of size 60 cm X 60 cm X 60 cm or according to the plant size and plant the trees straight inside the pit and fill up the pit with the earth along with inorganic fertilise manure (compost) in the proportion (3:1) and remove and spread the surplus excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Supply & labour for developing and Planting of Neem tree ( Azadirachta Indica) of height not less 3 feet including exavation in post holes of size 90 cm X 90 cm X 90 cm or according to the plant size and plant the trees straight inside the pit and fill up the pit with the earth along with inorganic fertilise manure (compost) in the proportion (3:1) and remove and spread the surplus excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Material & labour for developing and Planting "HEDGES" including 60cm wide laying and dibbling of Soil rows and watering , including excavation post holes for plant as required , returning filling with earth in necessary watering and finally fine dressing, levelling etc and complete including stacking and disposal of materials declared unserviceable and surplus earth by spreading and levelling , the distance between plants not exceeding 90cms complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The following species for Hedges shall be used:- (a) Ixora (b) Hibiscus (c) Goudi-Choudi (d) Plumbago (e) Nerium Oleander (f) Tecoma Capsensis Eranthemum Note for Srl item No 2.04 to 2.10 (a) The cost of earth, royality, manure & item transportation is deemed to be inlcuded in the unit rate quoted. (b) After the certified date of completion of work, contractor shall engage 01 Mali for the 06 months for the purpose of watering, cutting / trimming grasses, leaves etc, maintenance & complete upkeep of gardens. The T&P / machine for grass cutting, blades, scissor for upkeeping of garden after completion shall be provided by contractor. The rates quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of all & nothing extra shall be admissible.

M&L for drilling and tapping CI/DI water mains of 100/150 mm dia (in position) for branch connections of the internal dia 40 mm including MS clamp of suitable size for turning water off and on and draining and refilling complete all as directed and specified by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for construction of brick masonary pits (230mm thick wall) of 900x600x1000mm internal dimension (bottom PCC floor of the pit should be minimum 30cms below the bottom surface of sluice valve flange to provide sufficient working space), bottom floor of the pit be constructed in PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 15cms thick with 20mm stone aggregate for foundation, brick wall with sub class 'B' bricks built in CM 1:6, inner and exposed surfaces and bottom floor of the pit should be plastered in cement mortar (1:4) 15mm thick, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping. The sluice valve and other fittings should be housed in center of the pit. The vertices of the pit should in right angle and chamfered. The top cover of the pit will be made out of MS sheet 3mm thick with angle iron frame made out of MS angle 50mmx50mmx6mm with galvanized steel hinges two Nos. and locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enameled paint over one coat of red oxide including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as shown in Drg No. CEJZ/TD-1060 Sheet 1/3 to 3/3.

Shifting of transformer 200/250 KVA from Extg location to MDC (within 2500 Mtrs) outdoor type 11000/433 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 cycle naturally oil cooled type suitable for outdoor installation on plinth of MDC sub stn complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: (a) Rate shall be inclusive of transformer plinth of size 1.5x1.5x1.5 mtr (b) The safe transformer lifting from extg location, shifting and placing on new plinth is contractors responsibilty and any damage to transformer in these activities will be entire contractors responsibilty and contract has to make good the losses. (c) The transformer oil will be filtered by the contractor and topping of the same will be done by the contractor before energysing the transformer, rate quoted shall be inclusive of the same. (d) The existing transformer of capacity 160 KVA will be removed from pole and will be deposited to Thimayya Power House.

Supply and fixing double compression copper gland for fixing armoured cables of size 95 sqmm 3 core nominal cross sectional area complete all as directed

All as per ser item No. 2.14 above but cross sectional area 120 sqmm 3½ core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of LT feeder pillar distribution panel board (KIOSK) CPRI approved, outdoor type, double door (front & rear openable with gasket arround doors), weather/vermin proof of IP-54, made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA mild steel (certificate from manufacturer will be necessary for quality aasurance and guarantee) as per IS/IEC-61439 of suitable size and medium channel 75mm base mounting frame of 50mm x 50mm x 5mm, with stainless steel hinges, door handles (front & rear), factory assembled cubicle pattern modular and compartmentalized construction, floor mounted free standing type, 3 phase and neutral 500 amps current carrying capacity aluminium busbar with epoxy insulated coating with colour sleeves and including incoming ACB and outgoing MCCBs, cable galleries inter connecting busbar connection/linkage with countersunk holes at bottom for base mounting brackets and sheet steel gland plates for cable entry complete with the following accessories and suitable for housing one incoming MCCB and outgoing MCCBs of capacity as below complete and mounting the panel board on suitable foundation with PCC (1:3:6), bedding upto a height 45cm above ground level, duly grouted with bolts, nuts & washers by using angle iron frame of size 50mm x 50mm x 6mm including prewired with suitable size PVC insulated copper conductor cable not less than 2.5 sqmm complete all as specified and directed with the following accessories:-

Supply and fixing FRP fencing made up with using FRP rod 12 mm dia, channel size 50 x 24 x 4mm box section 50 x 25mm "I" section 38 x 15 x 3 mm and square box section 50 x 50mm in post embedded in plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate (45cm x 45cm x 45cm) including necessary excavation and earth work at 1.25m C/C with height of fencing 2m (the panel shall be of size 2 mtr in height and 1 mtr in width) from ground level including entrance gate of size 1m x 2m of same material, Stainless steel aldrop bolt 300mm long, 150mm size pressed steel handless and 2 Nos, tower bolts stainless steel hinges as required etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make as approved by GE confirming to above specification. Note : (a) Vertical posts and rail section shall be manufactured of fibre glass re-inforcement min 45% and formulation of polyster based thermostat resins. (b) Rate quoted shall be inclusive of excavation and earth work and PCC all as specified in the item.

Supply, install, test and commissioning of Silent Diesel Engine driven with AMF panel with suitably heavy duty contactors Generating set, Water cooled type, BHP 156 @ 1500 RPM, 6 cylinder, Acoustic proof, comprising Diesel Engine as per IS:10001/10002, Alternator as per IS: 13364, AC, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase 4 wire, 125 KVA capacity coupled to Engine, complete with foundation (as per OEM design), installed/fixed on common base plate with anti vibration pads/friction pads and comprising:- A) Battery charger of suitable capacity for charging the batteries suitable for operation on AC 1-φ, 230 volts 50 Hz B) Battery of suitable capacity and Nos with copper flexible PVC insulated cables and terminals lugs. C) Initial filing of engine oil to te required level/standard. D) Fuel tank capacity not less 8 working hours fuel with initial filling of diesel of required quantity for testing the DG set E) Control panel with digital type Metre for reading volts, amps, frequency, RPM, hours run, KWH etc., F) Engine safety unit indicator for supply ON, low LOP, battery removed, high tempareture, fuse open, 'V' Belt failed, charge, auxiliary trip/emergency stop, stop solenoid ON etc., G) Pressure gauge 0-10 bar, tempareture gauge, ammeter 50-0-50, indicator lamp for set ON, load ON, start switch, key type ON/OFF control. (d) Accoustic proof enclosure shall conform to latest Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB-IV) norms and shall be carried out by authorised manufacturers and certificate to this effect shall be submitted.
