SCH "A" PART-I (EOT CRANES)

Design, assembly, testing, packing, delivery, installation and commissioning & testing electrically operated overhead travelling single girder gantry crane, 415 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz, conforming to IS 800, 807 and 3177, suitable for Class II with normal speeds of hoist, complete with and including the following capacities and basic parameters complete all as specified and as directed.

For all other technical parameters and allied specifications and mandatory requirements of Gantry cranes, refer Appendix "A" to BOQ and Particular Specifications here-in-after.

Gantry crane of load lifting capacity 2 Ton with span - cross travel (CT) 3 metres, bay length Long travel (LT) 15 metres and height of lift 3 metres (minimum) from FFL

Gantry crane of load lifting capacity 3 Ton with span - cross travel (CT) 4 metres, bay length Long travel (LT) 15 metres and height of lift 3 metres (minimum) from FFL

Gantry crane of load lifting capacity 5 Ton with span - cross travel (CT) 11 metres, bay length Long travel (LT) 42 metres and height of lift 6 metres (minimum) from FFL

Power / Sub-main wiring with PVC insulated unsheathed, 1100 volts, grade multistranded copper conductor, four runs of single core 10.0 sqmm FRLSH conforming to IS-694, drawn through and including suitable dia rigid PVC conduit, conduit fittings and conduit accessories alongwith two runs of 10.0 sqmm PVC insulated single core multistranded copper conductor cable FRLSH (green) as earth continuity conductor concealed in walls and fixed with suitable clamps on ceiling / roof trusses etc. and connecting to common earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) Four runs of 10 sqmm cable and two runs of 10 sqmm cable and one run of conduit will be measured as one length.

(b) Cutting chases on walls for concealing pipes and cost of terminal box is deemed to be included in the item rates quoted for sub-main wiring / circuit wiring.

Isolator, FP, 63 Amps, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

Sheet metal enclosure, MCB DB SPN 4 way, SPN, double door, powder coated, 240 volts, AC, 50Hz, fixed on wall semi flush with tinned copper bus bar, neutral link, earth link and connecting up complete all as specified and as directed.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of galvanised iron strip 32mmx 6mm fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 6mm thick, with and including earthing of 32mm x 6mm dia GI strip protected by 40mm dia GI pipe light grade upto a length of 7.5m. The plate shall be buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metres below ground level, connected to earth lead as described here-in-before by means of bolts, nuts, washers and checknuts made out of galvanised iron or mild steel, earthing lead protected by as described here-in-before and connected to main switch board or main control board or electric pole all as shown on electrical plate No.3 of MES Sch Part-I including necessary earth work and excavation in any type of soil, plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C1 chamber, reinforced cement concrete cover slab with locking arrangement and handle of 10mm dia MS round bars 450mm long, 1:2:4 type B1, 50mm thick with 8mm dia TMT bars at 140mm centre to centre both ways, GI pipe of bore 20mm medium grade for watering with funnel, wiremesh, salt, charcoal, lugs including testing complete all as specified and as directed.
