REPAIR REPLACEMENT TO FOOT PATH, HARDSTANDING, DRAIN DRAIN COVER AND SUNKEN FLOOR OF BATHROOM AND CONNECTED BR WORKS UNDER CELL NO 2 AREA UNDER GE (NW) NOFRA, COLABA, MUMBAI

Dismantling floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Non skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick ( square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match the shade of the tiles including 20mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Coloured glazed ceramic tiles in vertical surface 450 X350X7mm thick , set and jointed in neat cement paste and pointed in coloured cement to match the shade of the tiles including 10 mm thick backing coat in CM 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of plain cement concrete of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided for any description.

Treatment of sunken floor slab compraises of the following specifications and all as specified :-

(i) M&L for cleaning the sunken/lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spout (Cost cutting holes and pipes shall be measured and paid separately)

(ii) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 5mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out.( WPC shall be measured & paid separately)

(iii) All junctions points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy puty.

(iv) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(v) M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturs instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.(This item shall be measured and paid separately)

(vi) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound 3% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer's specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout.( WPC shall be measured & paid separately)

(vii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round after painting with anticorrosive paint (this item shall be measured & paid separately)).

Note :- Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of PMG and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained. Cost of testing is inclued in the rates quoted above.

Cutting holes n exc 150 Sqcm into or through brick walls built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar and stone walls and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l as required after inserting and setting spouts all as specified.

M & L for GI pipe 50mm dia medium grade laid on sunken floor complete all as specified and direced by EIC.

All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round including painting with anticorrosive paint

M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturs instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. M & L Injection grouting in RCC slab shall be cast/laid to the slope as directed/as per site conditions. After RCC slab is laid, cured and fully set, water shall be ponded in the sunken slab portion as per specified ponding test. The location of seepage/leakage, if any, shall be identified and marked. The portion of the slab where leakage/seepage is observed shall be repaired with grouting at contractor's expences. The area of dripping/leakage shall be cleaned to expose the surface. Mark the spots for injection grouting. If leakage is through a crack, mark grouting points along the crack in a staggered manner. If the leakage is across the area mark grouting spots in a grid pattern. Drill grouting holes so as to neatly fit the injection packers. Drilling to be done at an angle of 45 to the plane of grouting surface. Fix PVC/MS nozzles in the low viscosity, polyurethane resin/epoxy grout using a grouting pump. Repeat the process after 1 or 2 days if the leakage continues at some point. allow to cure for 24 hours and seal the grouting holes appropriately using epoxy putty etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Integral water proofing compound ISI marked.

M&L PCC 1:7:12 type F2 (40mm graded aggregate) with brick aggregate as in lean concrete/filling concrete

Taking down Cast iron/AC/PVC pipe of any dia and size fixed on wall or floor including all fittings complete all as specified.

Supply and Fixed 100 mm bore of sand cast CI soil, waste and vent pipe in any length with ears and jointed with neat cement paste fixed to wall upto 16th floor complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixed in repair 100 mm bore of sand cast CI bend of any radius with ovel access door and jointed with neat cement paste complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixed in repair 100 mm bore of branch piece single branch of any radius with ovel access door and jointed with neat cement paste complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F factorymade precast moulded and vibro compacted RCC manhole cover with necessary handles of size 900 x 450 x 100mm placed in position where ever required as directed by Engineer in Charge. Man hole cover shall be of "BMC" pattern, precast slab as in RCC M-30 manufactured by locally availabale manufacturer as approved

M&L for Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified.

M & L for complete removal of existing treatment on wall surfaces and applying 3mm thick wall care putty, sanding the surfaces till even and smooth finish and applying one coat of wall primer, and finally applying two coats of oil bound distemper of approval tint.
