CIVIL WORKS BUILDING

Earthwork in excavation by manual means upto a depth of 2m below the existing ground level for foundation trenches of foundations, footings of column/walls, retaining walls, septic tank etc. including bailing out water where necessary and removal of surplus earth with all lead and lifts as directed and specified for the following classification of soils. a) All kinds of soil (ordinary soil/hard soil/dense soil)

Providing soling with stone/best quality picked jhama brick, sand packed and laid to level and in panel after preparing the subgrade as directed including all labour and materials and if necessary dewatering, complete. ( b) Stone soling (i) 100mm

Plain cement concrete works in foundation bed for footing, steps, walls, brick works etc. below plinth level as specified including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete (shuttering where necessary shall be be paid separately) in prop 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand: 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand: 12 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) up to plinth level with: (a) Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement- All work up to plinth level: (b) M20 or 1: 11/2: 3 (1 cement: 11/2 coarse sand: 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position reinforcement bars upto 1st floor level, conforming to relevant I.S. Code for R.C.C. work/R.B. walling including straightening, cleaning, cutting and bending to proper shapes and length as per details, supplying and binding with 20G annealed black wire and placing in position with proper blocks, supports, chairs, spacers etc. complete (Rates inclusive of all wastage, lappage, hooks, chairs, anchorage etc and no measurements for the same is required). (b) High Yield Strength Deformed bars or Tor Bars.

15 mm thick Cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix: (a) 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement:3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement. (b) 20mm cement plaster)

Providing, fitting and fixing steel windows (including ventilators) of standard rolled steel sections as per relevant I.S. Code, joints mitred and welded with 15mm x 13mm x 100mm lugs embedded in cement concrete block of M-10 grade including providing and fixing of projecting hinges (not more than 65mm and not less than 15mm wide) bolting device, steel handles, pegs, stays of 300mm long etc. complete including providing 12mm x 12mm sq. bars duly welded to steel frame at not more than 12cm c/c applying a priming coat of red-lead paint etc. complete as per drawing. (a) Openable

Providing and fixing 1mm thick M.S. sheet door with frame of 40x40x6mm angle iron and 3mm M.S. gusset plates at the junctions and corners, all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer. (b) Using flats 30x6mm for diagonal braces and central cross piece.

Sand filling in plinth in layers not exceeding 150 mm thick including breaking Of clods, consolidating by ramming and watering complete as directed (maximum depth 45 cm).

Plain cement concrete floor base in prop 1:3:6 laid in alternate bays as specified with coarse aggregate of size 13mm to 32mm including dewatering if necessary, and curing etc. complete. (c) 100mm thick in prop 1:3:6.

Cement concrete floor topping 1:1:2 etc. (1 cement: 1 coarse sand: 2 stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, complete. (b) 20mm thick

Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade: New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: (a) New work (two or more coats over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture).

Wiring in looping system with copper PVC cable 250/440 volt grade of size 1.5 sq mm of approved quality using PVC casing capping including 5 amperes Indian best quality ceiling rose etc.capable to a highest point. (a) Long pont wiring upto 10 mts
