Detailed specification for item code No. M-2801001001. 1) Main body of the plough: The body of the plough made of 5mm thick sheet & its length should be 28 cms. & height 215mm. duly rivetted with one landside of M.S. Angle 35x35x6mm of 200mm. length supported with two supports for blade and board made of M.S. Angles 35x35x5mm, rivetted with main body of the plough. 2) Standard:- One standard made of M.S. Flat of 35x10mm in 290mm. length should be revitted with main body of the plough. The holes should be made for U clamp. 3) U Clamp: A U clamp made of M.S. Round 12mm in 30cms length, both ends be threaded and two nuts of 12mm provided with both ends of U clamp. 4) Stay Strip:- A stay strip made of M.S. flat 25x5mm in 200mm length be provided with four holes adjusting the length beam. 5) Board: The board made of 5mm thick sheet slighty covered in the centre. The Width of the board at top should be 20cms 14cms. in lower portion. The board should be bolted with counter sunk bolts and nut with supports rivited with main body of the plough. The length of the board from the centre be 17 cms. 6) Blade: The blade should be made of high carbon sheet or rail of 6mm thickness and in triangular in shape. The upper portion of the blade should be 14cms. in width and 26cms. in length. Net weight with conduit pipe handle-6.70 kg +-2% variation. Detailed specifications is as under:- 1. Standard:- The standard (Main body on which share blade and board are fixed) should be of Mild Steel flat of the size of 450x50x10mm curved at lower end, to fix the share blade and board on it. 2. Board:- The board should be made of M.S. Sheet 6mm thick slightly curved at the centre/middle. width of the board at the top and lower portion should be 210mm and 140mm respectively. The length of board at the centre should not be less than 150mm. 3. Share Blade:- The blade should be made of high carbon steel (0.90% carbon) or rolled railwayline. It should be triangular in shape with base width of 140mm, length at the centre should be 260mm and thickness 6mm. 4. Land side:- The land side should be made of M.S. Angle 37 x 37 x 5mm having length of 255mm. 5. Saddles:- Two saddles having sizes 120x75x6mm and 120x30 x 5mm respectively should be made of M.S. Flat and welded on the standard with 4mm electrodes. The share blade and board should be fixed on the standard by means of counter sunk bolts and nuts, 2 Nos. each on the welded saddles. 6. Stay strip:- A stay strip made of M.S. Flat 30x5mm in 255mm length, should have four holes to link the standard and handle, thereby helping in adjusting the length of beam. 7. U-Clamps:- A U-clamp made of M.S. rounds 12mm dia having 255mm length, both ends be threaded and two nuts of 12mm provided with both ends of U-Clamp. 8.Handles:- i) M.S. conduit Pipe Handle:- handle should be made of M.S. SINGLE ROW BAR HARROW (BULLOCK DRAWN):- Single Row Bar Harrow (Bullock drawn) as per Model-85 Deptt. of Agriculture,H.P. MAIN PARTS OF SINGLE ROW BAR HARROW ARE AS UNDER:- 1.Frame:- Frame should be made of standard M.S. angle iron of 50x50x6mm size and 85cms in length 9Nos. square holes of 16mm spaced at a distance of 10cms from centre to centre be provided for fixing of pegs on the top from flange of the M.S. angle iron. The first and last hole should be at a distance of 2.5cms from the respective end. 2.Pegs:- 9 Nos. pegs of M.S.square of 16x16mm size should be at a distance of 10cms from the top end in such a way that the angle of peg in the front should be 160mm length of peg may be 30cms including the uniformly tapered portion, At the top the peg at least at a length of 20mm should be uniformly turned and threaded so as to fit a standard nut of 12mm size with suitable spring washer and lock trip. The lower end of the peg should be uniformly tapered to a length of 8cms. Necessary provision may be made in the upper portion of the peg by welding piece of M.S. Round 6mm dia so as to provide obstruction to the peg for not passing through the square hole at the time of tightening the nut. 3. Hitching Arrangement:-Front hitch portion may be made of M.S. flat 35 x 6mm size having appropriate curvature and at least 4 Nos. holes of 10mm dia be provided with a bolt of10x8mm (carriage bolt) so as to adjust the beam to the different heights of the bullocks as per requirements of the fields. Front hitch should be supported with 2 Nos. M.S.flat pieces of 30x6mm size being welded to the main frame of the harrrow. Arrangement for fixing of 1 No. 100x8mm c-bolt with beam be made at the rear and by welding vertically 2 pieces of M.S. angles of 35x35x6mm of 2.5cms. length at a distance of 7.5cms. in the middle of frame. 4. Handle:- Single handle made of M.S. flat of 25x6mm and 80cms. in length. The bolts and nuts may be provided for fixing the handles. The grip of conduit pipe 30x120mm of 16 guage should be welded to the top and of the handle arms.

HAND RACK :- Hand rack of model Deptt. of Agriculture H.P. Scope Hand rack should be of the following parts:- 1) Frame:- Frame should be made of M.S. angle iron of 25x25x3mm size and 30cms. in length. 2) Spike:- 10 Nos. of spikes are made of M.S. round 8mm dia forged flattened. The length of each spike should be 9cms and centre to centre distance between two spikes be 3 cms. 3) Atleast 20mm length of each spike should be welded with frame of M.S. angle 25x25x3mm of 30cms. length. The lower end of the spike should be uniformly levelled to a length of 0.5cms. and top of spike should be bent so as to make an angle of 15 to 20 degree with the ground level for proper penetration of the implements. 4) Ferrule:- Ferrule should be conical shaped of M.S. sheet 1.63mm thick (16swg) 120mm in length diameter of the ferrule at front portion should be 25mm. and at the rear end 20mm, rear end of the ferrule should be flanged shaped having two holes. One hole should also be provided at the front portion. Front portion of ferrule should be riveted with two riveted with the frame and the rear portion should be riveted with condute pipe handle.
