Supply, installation, testing and commissioning complete of OEM manufactured, static silent (Sound proof enclosure) Diesel Engine Driven Generating set capable of delivering 50 KW (62.5 KVA output), at prime mover rating at 0.85 load factor as per ISO-8528 (Part-I), 415 Volts (AC three phase, 4 Wire system of supply) 50 Hz at 0.80 minimum power factor. The DG set shall consist of diesel engine coupled to a matching alternator, through flexible coupling and mounted on common base frame and complete with AMF control panel standardized by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangements and inlet, outlet return inlet oil arrangement, exhaust pipe including all mounting accessories as required/ suitable for installation at Jabalpur (MP) complete including, anti-vibration pads, including all features to comply with latest CPCB-IV guidelines and comprising of followings:- Note:- Capacity of engine, alternators shall be worked out taking all derating factors into consideration.

(a) ENGINE (prime mover): Diesel engine 1500 RPM, direct injection, 4 cylinders, in line with Mechanical governer, engine, well designed air handling system with dry type, replaceable paper element air cleaner with restriction indicator , air to air after cooling, optimised turbocharger for increased altitude capabilities, best in class fuel economy with bosch HPCR fuel system with A1 class electronic governing, duel fuel filter system , pre filter including water separator and water in fuel (WIF) sensor and main filter,Electrical lift pump for faster response, standard integral set mounted radiator system, designed and tested for 50°C temperature, hospital grade silencer suitably optimised to meet stringent noise emission standards laid down by MOEF/CPCB , complete exhaust pipe with cladding as per site requirement , conforming to ISO 3046/BS 5514, to drive alternator capable of delivering 50 KW (62.5 KVA) at outdoor atmoshpheric conditions at Jabalpur (MP), 12 Volts (as per manufacturer recommendations) electric battery start, complete with dynamically balanced fly wheel, all standard fittings/ fixtures as per manufacturers with and including suitable panel with tachometer, lub oil temperature, pressure gauze and frequency meter and also including self starter system, dynamo, fuel electric control panel with electronic governor (ECPG) and engine protection systems (shut down, high water temperature, low lub oil, oil pressure, over speed etc), fuel tank and first fill of lub oil and other consumables items etc complete.

(b) Alternator: Brushless AC alternator, 3 phase 415 Volts, 4 wire rated for output of 62.5 KVA/ 50 kW, minimum power factor 0.80, 1500 RPM, IP23 protection class enclosure, insulation class "H", salient pole, revolving field, single bearing automatic voltage regulator coupled through flexible coupling to match with the engine as specified above.

(c) BASE PLATE: Made out of structural steel as per manufacturers recommended design/specifications complete.

(d) Accoustic Enclosure: Sheet metal fabricated cope type, powder coated silent enclosure manufactured on CNC machines as per CPCB-IV norms complete. Note: Enclosure shall be designed for reducing the sound level as under with following conditions as laid down in GSR No. 371 (E) dt 17 May 2002:- (i) 75 DB at a distance of 1.0M at 75% load under field condition. (ii) 70 DB at 3.0M from Gen set when DG set is working at full load along with testing conformance, labelling certificaton, etc

(f) Foundation/ Plinth/ Base: PCC platform of size extended 0.50M all round of DG set (outer dimensions), 0.60M above GL and 0.30M below GL in PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, foundation 150mm thick and 150mm extending on all sides over PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate including necessary excavation & earth work and plaster/ rendering in CM 1:4 on all sides of PCC platform upto 15cm below from GL and two coats of white wash on plastered surfaces including prepration of surfaces complete all as directed.

(g) Diesel storage tank of capacity, adequate for storage of diesel for 12 hours operation of Gen set .

(h) Miscellaneous: Tool kit, operation and maintenance catalogue, spare parts list, overhauling manuals, guarnatee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices as and when asked.

General Notes for item No. 1.00:- (i) The DG set shall be taken over only after it has been tested as per relevant IS specification/ instructiions by the contractor in the presence of an officer nominated by the accepting officer. (ii) All the expenses incurred on the above test including provision of testing apparatus required to carry out the above mentioned test shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the government. If the result of the test is not found satisfactory, the contractor shall at his own expense, replace the defective equipments/ materials/ accessories or any thereof as directed by the GE. Decision of Accepting Officer shall be final, conclusive and binding in this respect.

Supply, laying or fixing or passing through pipe commissioning and testing XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 50 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all asspecified & directed.

Supply, laying or fixing or passing through pipe commissioning and testing XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 70 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all asspecified & directed.

Supply and fix Galvanised iron strip 32x 6mm with and including saddles and fixing screws etc and jointing of strips with suitable size of nuts, bolts & washers; for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2 mm thick for voltage upto 3.3 kv for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50M deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade including necessary fittings for protection of earthing strip, watering pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade, concrete chamber in PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm grade aggregate, coping shall be in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm grade aggregate and internal surfaces of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.63 mm) 8 mesh per linear incl 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm MS deformed bar @ 75 mm C/C both ways, char coal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) including all necessary excavation & earth work and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50M and providing connection points with MS/ GI bolts & washers as required and connection from earth test point to earth electrode with same GI earth strip alongwith protection pipe and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- GI strip and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells cesspits manholes pier holes etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m depth in any type of soil etc complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filing in, excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm etc complete all as specified and directed

Removal of excavated materials not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting points etc complete all as specified and directed

Supply and laying sand cushioning with dry and clean washed sand over and under the under ground cable in trenches, ducts for cable protection 150 mm below & 80 mm above the cable as protection of cable complete as specified & directed. Note : Punned thickness of sand shall be measured & paid.

Material & labour for Best quality locally available, sub class B bricks (Old size) for cable protection cover, laid flat and dry, in trenches over the cable perpendicular to the direction of the cable with width equal to the length of brick complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of road/path /concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) .complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying of GI steel tubing 80mm bore light grade laid in trenches/wall/floor and jointed including necessary fittings such as bends, elbow, tees sockets etc including necessary saddles and clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying of GI steel tubing 50mm bore light grade laid in trenches/wall/floor and jointed including necessary fittings such as bends, elbow, tees sockets etc including necessary saddles and clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, Install, testing & commissioning factory made outdoor type dust and vermin proof Feeder pillar LT panel board, cubical, double door, hinged type compartmentalized of suitable size 415 volts, AC 50 Hz fabricated of CRCA sheet 3.15mm thick, machine pressed and angle iron frame 50mm x 50mmx 6mm grouted in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) powder coated inside and outside complete, both side opening door including 4 poles aluminium bus bar of 800 Amps mouned on porcelain insulators and enclosed in chamber made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet machine pressed and connection from incoming and outgoing electric cable with suitable size thimbles / lugs, cable gland with openable shutters on both side and comprising of the followings :-

CABLE ALLEY- Cable alley shall be provided on both side of the panel of suitable space for all incoming and outgoing cables. Cable terminals shall be provided for connecting of all incoming and outgoing cables

(n) Pannel box made of CRCA mild steel 3.15mm thick, duly powder coated with busbar and internal wiring all as per CPRI approved Manufacturer(The panel shall not be less than 1.5 Sqm in front area)

Note :- Panel shall be manufactured by CPRI approved firm as indicated above. The contractor shall submit drawing of the panels to Engr-in-charge before procurement of LT panel for approval alongwith CPRI approval. Foundation will prepared as per instruction and cost thereto is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.
