CATHODIC PROTECTION
Cathodic Protection (CP) System for soil side corrosion prevention of underground fire water lines under road crossings as per details given in the specification vide document No. B378-999-06-45-CSW-0002 for U&O, GAIL Usar. All work shall be carried out conforming to the Scope of work, Design Basis, Data Sheets, specification, standards as per the tender and provisions of GCC, SCC , EIL / OWNER approved survey report/ design package, including all materials, equipment, consumables, spares, transportation, storage of materials at site, manpower, in line with direction of Engineer-in –charge.
Supply and Installation of automatic current controlled, outdoor type, oil cooled, plinth mounted transformer Rectifier Unit (T/R Unit), complete with its accessories and auxiliaries including earthing arrangement, related civil/ Foundation / Structural works and input/output cable connection and glanding of incoming and outgoing cables inside T/R unit and including all labour and materials as per specifications, drawings and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Installation of outdoor type, plinth /structure mounted IP-55, C.P.System Power distribution board (PDB), complete with its accessories and auxiliaries including earthing arrangement, related civil/ Foundation / Structural works and input/output cable connection and glanding of incoming and outgoing cables and also at owner switch board complete in all respects and including all labour and materials as per specifications, drawings and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Installation of junction Boxes excluding laying of cables, but including connection, termination and glanding of cables at junction box end for +ve header, -ve header, drainage, measurement, reference cell, anode lead cables including supporting and mounting arrangements for junction box related civil/foundation works, excavation of concrete pavement/soil whichever existing for installation, backfilling and restoration of the concrete pavement wherever existing after completion of works etc. complete and including all labour/ materials as per specifications, drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Fibre Optic Cable, 6 Core, single mode, for Central Monitoring system to be laid between the FO Junction box located at each TRU shed and the FO Junction box located at S/S.
Supply & Making cable to pipe joint by thermit welding method or Pin brazing method including excavation of concrete pavement/soil wherever existing and including supply of all consumables, labours and materials as per specifications, drawings and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Design, Detail Engineering, Testing & Commissioning of System
Conducting Soil Resistivity Survey at 2 nos. locations including supply of all necessary material and labour and as per specifications, drawings and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Preparation and submission of approved Detail Engineering package including location drawings, construction drawings, C.P.System equipment/material drawings and BOQ for procurement purpose as per tender specifications.
Testing/commissioning of complete CP System including interference tests and Central Monitoring & Control System including supply of all materials, labour, and as per specifications, drawings and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Installation of CP System central monitoring and control considering RS485 over Fibre Optics as the communication network between RTU/PLC & Master Computer located at Central control room along with its SCADA soft ware / hardware and supply of Central Monitoring PC of i7 latest generation along with accessories as per specification for Central Monitoring & Control of TR Unit , GPS based synchronised switching on /off of TR Units & ON/OFF potential monitoring of Permanent reference Cells for Plant piping in real time, all TRU located in each shed at each S/S along with 5 no. ref.cell within the influence of zone of protection for each TRU for UG Piping shall be monitored and controlled through central monitoring and control system as per specification and direction of the Engineer- In - Charge.
