Opening of the central Heating Boiler( Hot water generator) ,dismounting of the burner assembly ,removing the front door ,fittings ,back plate etc from it by employing chain block. The job then involves throughly removing soot and carbon deposits inside,combustion chamber etc by using wire brush, scrapers and blower . The inside of the boiler circuits will be cleaned by circulating through it a solution of de-scaling compound, sulphamic acid powder of approved make and water continuously for 24 hr with the help of descaling pump while maintaining a PH of 1-2. The solution is to be circulated from a tank/barrel/trays.All consumable items viz. Brushes, detergent, diesel/kerosene oil, dhoti cloth required shall be arranged by the contractor.The job also involves dismantling/cleaning of the burner block , cleaning of nozzle, diffuser plate, electrodes. All other accessories of the boiler shall also be opened and cleaned similarly. The steam boiler shall be again reassembled ,tested and commissioned after servicing. The job includes replacement of all seals ,gaskets, asbestos rope. Asbestos felt, asbestos sheet, defective nuts, bolts,damaged packings etc. as shall be required for sucessful operation of the boiler .The tools and tackles required for the job and any other consumables shall be provided by the contractor.

Complete cleaning,desooting and decarbonising of all tubes of each by using wire brush, scrapers and blower.The job includes replacement of front ,rear door and fire boxes gaskets etc.

Providing and replacement of castable refractory and insulating bricks work .The job includes complete removal of old damaged refractory and thorough cleaning of refractory surfaces /bases.Angle Iron hooks/holdfasts shall be firmly welded to the refractory base whereever necessary and collar of the top plate shall be repaired as per sample.Refractory & insulating bricks shall be laid in "fire Crete Super' brand castible refractory cement. Repairing of tube ends cracks /End plate cracks (tube to tube ) by way of V Grooving ,cutting,welding , grinding and D.P. Test .The job includes cutting and removing of old leaky and damaged portion ,cleaning and filling of surfaces and welding .All tools ,tackles,IBR Welder ,skilled manpower etc are to be arranged by the contractor.

Providing & fitting of seamless fire tubes (IBR approved) in the Central heating Boiler .The job includes cutting and removing of old leaky and damaged tubes,cleaning and filling of surfaces and fitting new tubes by welding.All tools ,tackles and skilled manpower are to be arranged by the contractor.Tubes shall be of Boiler grade material as per BS 3059 (Part-1)/BS 3059 (Part-1I).The contractor shall have to submit necessary certificates as asked by concerned Executive Engineer/ AEE or his representative.
