Providing labour for manual demolition and dismantling of unauthorized/illegal constructions on multi-storey DDA flats, including deployment of all requisite safety gear, protective equipment and necessary tools such as iron rods, hammers, ropes, pickaxes, rebar cutters, ladders, measuring tapes, etc., as per site requirements and the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing highly skilled supervisor personnel for the effective execution of the demolition programme, having adequate proficiency in interpreting and analysing drawings and layout plans of the buildings, coordinating with the labour engaged at site, and ensuring the proper deployment and functioning of machinery and equipment as per site requirements and the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing of concrete slab cutter machine with skilled operator for cutting of RCC Slabs, Chhajas & etc. as per site requirement and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing of electrically operated heavy duty hammer machine (Minimum Weight 20 Kg and impact energy 50 Joules) with skilled operator for demolishing of RCC Slabs, Chhajas & etc. as per site requirement and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge

Providing of electrically operated hand held angle grinder with skilled operator for cutting of Steel sections and Reinforcement of RCC Slabs, Chhajas & etc. as per site requirement and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Special Conditions: 1. The agency shall execute all items strictly in accordance with the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge and the actual site requirements. In case any item is not executed as directed. 2. The agency shall submit a fortnightly labour deployment report to the Engineer-in-Charge, indicating the manpower deployed during the relevant period. 3. The requirement of labour, equipment and machinery shall be communicated to the agency at least three days in advance, wherever practicable. The agency shall be solely responsible for arranging the required manpower, equipment, machinery, tools and tackles within the stipulated time. 4. No labourer or staff member under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating substance shall be permitted to enter the demolition premises or participate in the demolition work. 5. The agency shall deploy a well-qualified and suitably experienced supervisor, preferably a graduate, who shall be capable of understanding and analysing drawings and related documents and of effectively coordinating with the deployed labour and machinery for systematic execution of the demolition programme. 6. The agency shall be solely responsible for the safe and successful execution of the demolition-cum-dismantling programme in accordance with the directions of the concerned officer/Engineer-in-Charge and the drawings/documents provided for the purpose. No officer or field staff of DDA shall be responsible for or engaged in carrying out the demolition work on behalf of the agency. 7. The agency shall provide all necessary safety gear and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety helmets, reflective/safety jackets, gloves, safety shoes, ropes, safety belts/harnesses and other requisite safety equipment, as per site requirements. The agency shall be solely responsible for maintaining safe working conditions at the demolition site. No officer or field staff of DDA shall be held responsible for any accident, injury, loss or incident occurring at the site during execution of the demolition programme. 8. The agency shall be solely responsible for any damage caused to the building, adjoining properties, belongings of neighbours or any authorised portion of the building during execution of the demolition work. Any such damage shall be made good by the agency at its own cost, and the necessary recovery, wherever applicable, shall be made from the agency.
