Repair and Renovation of Centralized facilities in the Department of Commerce in connection with NAAC Accreditation of Jammu University

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of 1 mm (avg.) thickness,of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade on New work (two or more coats) over and including priming coat with water thinnable cement primer

Distempering (one coat) with 1st quality acrylic distemper, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50 grams/ liter, of approved brand and manufacture, including to achieve even shade and colour.applying additional coats wherever required

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture (Make Asian/Nerolac) of required colour to give an even shade, one or more coats on old work (Wood/Steel).

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including raking out old putty Float glass panes of thickness 5.0 mm(weight not less than 12.50 kg/sqm

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20 mm in patches including cutting the patch in proper shape raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete including disposal of rubbish outside the University Campus. With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 sand). All work upto floor V level.

Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters :30 mm thick including ISI marked anodised aluminium butt hinges with necessary screws, applying a coat of wood primer and then painting with synthetic enamal paint of (two or more coats) of approved brand and manufacture (Make Asian/Nerolac).
