Surface excavation to required camber and gradient n.exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard/dense type of soil, complete all as specified & directed.

Material and Labour for 150 mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stones of size range 100mm to 50mm, interstices filled, surfaces formed and rolled with power roller 8/12 tonne and consolidated to required gradient, complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Water Bound Macadam (WBM) (granite, basalt or trap) in two layers of 75mm consolidated thickness each with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surface in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including filling in soft spots, depression etc which occur during rolling (for portion coming in cutting/original ground only) to required camber and gradient etc including water before or during rolling complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for preparation of unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam (WBM) by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam of consolidated thickness (50mm) with paving bitumen any penetration rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using binder (Bitumen VG-30) content 4% by weight of total mix, mixed in HOT MIX PLANT and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: The specifications of bituminous macadam shall be as per Para 20.B.3 of SSR Pt-I

Preparing the existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10.00 Sqm of road surface and laying premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with paving bitumen (Bitumen VG-30) any penetration rolled and compected to required camber and gradient using binder content 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in HOT MIX PLANT and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content @5.5% of total mix by weight. However in case of any variation in weight of binder as per actual design mix, the same shall be paid by the contractor.

Removing excavated material to a distance exc. 50m but not exc. 100m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for cement concrete PCC 1:5:10, nominal mix, type C-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 Grade jointed with grey cement and pigment, over 25mm thick sand cushioning complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for reinforced concrete pipes of bore 150mm, class NP-2, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for cement concrete PCC 1:4:8, M-10, nominal mix, type C-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling complete all as specified.

Material and labour for Brickwork with subclass 'B' bricks (old size), straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified.

Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified.

Material and labour for reinforced concrete pipes of bore 600mm, class NP-2, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in (soil), including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5m, in all kind of soil including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for cement concrete PCC 1:3:6, nominal mix, type C-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified.

Material and labour for Brickwork with subclass 'B' bricks (old size), straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, in half brick thick wall, built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified.

M&L PCC 1:2.4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone crushed aggregate) as in copings, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc., complete all as specified and directed
