Repair / maintenance of internal/Building light fittings of any type like tube lights / wall bracket light fittings / ceiling lights / mirror lights/ high& Medium bay lights in its position, testing all the compenents / parts, wiring etc, identifying and replacing the defective components like choke (ballast), tube rod, side holders, holders, lamps etc all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: (i) The rate against the above mentioned item is deemed for cost of labour only. (ii) Cost of spares like Choke (ballast), capacitor, lamp holder, connector, connection wire,LED tube, Bulbs etc) replaced against above mentioned item will be measured & paid for separately under respective items of Sch 'A' here-in-below. (iii) The contractor's representative will report to concerned JE E/M at 0900hrs daily to collect the list of defects and will submit the completion report on following day before 0900hrs to the JE E/M.

(iv) The contractor has to rectify the defects and make the light fittings functional within 24 hours from the time the list of defective lights is handed over to him / his rep by the concerned JE E/M. In case the light fitting is not made functional for whatsoever reason within the specified time limit, an amount of Rs 50/- per such defective light fitting per day will be recovered from the amount due to him through RAR / Final Bill. The contractor shall engage separate team of technicians / repairer for SPRITE/ASL, DRDL and NGARM areas. (v) The contractor shall maintain proper record of repair / maint in a binded register duly bringing out the details of spares replaced in each and every light fitting and get it authenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis. The contractor shall put up the maint record register to Engineer-in-charge for inspection every Monday or as and when asked for. (vi) The contractor shall maintain sufficient stock of spares / material required for repair / maint of light fittings with the concerned JE E/M against the supply only items here-in-below. (vii) The contractor should submit the copy of qulaification, Experience of Electrician and police verification certificates while sigining the site orders. (viii) The contractor is fully responsible for maintaining the safety standards to be maintained by the electricians while attending the electrical defects. (ix) The Electricians and helpers should be provided with the uniform duly labeling the name of the Firm.
