Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1. Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. (ii) For Grading II Material

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. (A) By Manual Means

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying & rolling of open graded Premix Carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on previously prepared base inclusing mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with three wheeled 80-100KN static roller capacity, finished to required grade and level to be followed by seal coat either type A or type B or type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508.By manual means (i) Bitumen (S-90)

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A, Type B and Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 510 By Manual Means Case-I Type A (i) Bitumen (S-90)

RCC Guard Post: Supplying, fitting and fixing RCC guard post 150cm long erected 75cm above the ground and 75cm below the ground with M-15 grade (nominal mix 1:2:4 with broken stone aggregate up to 20mm size) of cement concrete and required reinforcement tied in position with annealed black wire including centering, moulding the top, curing including painting concrete surfaces in 23cm strips upto 0.75m from the top alternately in black and white and having 2 nos. reflective band of desired shade etc. complete as per design and as directed 15 cm dia. RCC guard post with reinforcement of 4nos. 12mm dia TMT main steel bars and 6mm TMT/ MS stirrups at 15cm c/c.

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801. (ii) 600mm equilateral triangle

(iv) 800mm x 600mm rectangular

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes and conforming to the MoSrt&H specifications.

Providing reflective pavement marker with Micro prismatic lens in both direction having thermoplastic body adhering to the specification and guidelines of MoSRT&H’s fixed to the road surface using the adhesives and the procedures recommended by the manufacturers with three months replacement warranty and free maintenance.

Construction of R.C.C. railing of M 25 grade in cast-in-situ with 20 mm nominal size aggregate, true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical railing post not to exceed 1 in 500, centre-to-centre spacing between vertical posts not to exceed 2000 mm as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 800, 900 and 1208.3
