Special Eligibility Criteria

   As per clause no 2.12.1(a), 2.12.2, 2.12.3.2.12.4 and 2.12.6 and 2.12.7 of bid document version 14 or latest with all corrigendums and amendments if any issued before closing of tender. In case there are not more than three Indian suppliers categorized as approved vendors for the tendered item, developmental vendors can be considered for placement of bulk order without any quantity restriction. However, while considering such vendors, factors including past performance, capacity, delivery requirements ,quantity under procurement, nature of item, outstanding order load etc. shall be considered in a transparent manner, subject to rates being reasonable. Quantity allocation among eligible vendors shall be based on pre-decided tender criteria. Indian Supplier shall be defined in Para 10 (e) of Public Procurement (Preference to make in India) order, 2017, which is as follows: A supplier or bidder shall be considered to be from India if (i) the entity is incorporated in India, or (ii) a majority of its share holding or effective control of the entity is exercised from India, or (iii) more than 50% of the value of the item being supplied has been added in India.    The basic price of battery is based on M/s Hindustan Zinc Ltd.'s Ex Chanderiya Lead Zinc smelter price of Rs.2,19,200.00 per MT (exclusive of all statutory duties and taxes) in its price circular prevailing as on D a t e 30.04.26 for lead purity 99.99%. The basic price will be subject to variation as follows: For every increase/decrease of Rs.100.00 in M/s. HZL's ex- Chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter base price of Lead purity 99.99%, the basic price of 1 1 0 V 120AH VRLA Battery (PL No. 33614477) will vary upward/downward as Rs.34.20 per set (exclusive of all statutory duties & taxes). The basic price of M/s HZL Lead p u r i t y 99.99% (ex- Chanderiya smelter) in its price circular prevalent one month (i.e.,30 days) prior to date of i n s p e c t i o n call for offering the battery set for inspection will be considered for computing the PVC. In case of consignee inspection, the date of dispatch will be treated as date of inspection call offer for the purpose of price variation calculation for payment purpose.

   Packing Instruction: VRLA BATTERIES- ALL MONOBLOCKS /CELLS SHOULD BE PACKED TOGETHER IN M.S. MODULES IN A WOODEN CAGE , PACKING SHOULD BE SO RIGID THAT MATERIAL SHOULD NOT BE DAMAGED DURING TRANSIT, LIFTING AT SHOP FLOOR. BOTTOM FRAME TO BE MADE OF WOODEN PLANKS 20MM THICK &SHOULD HAVE SUPPORT OF AT LEAST 3 WOODEN BATTONS OF SUITABLE LENGTH TO FACILITATE LIFTING BY FORK LIFTER. EACH PANEL TO BE PACKED IN WOODEN CAGE OF SUITABLE DIMENSIONS MADE OUT OF WOODEN STRIPS OF 20X100MM SIZE. GAP BETWEEN EACH STRIPS SHOULD NOT BE MORE THEN 100MM..A LIST SHOULD BE PASTED ON EACH WOODEN CAGE SHOWING NON-SPILLABLE , ORDER NO ,PL NO, DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEM, DRG.NO/SPEC.NO ,QTY, FIRM'S NAME &ADDRESS AND DATE OF DESPATCH ETC. NOTE- 1 ) FIRMS HAVE OPTION TO PROVIDE QR CODE.
