Checking and attending complaints by means of repairing/rectifying the electric defects/faults related to elctrical equipments,devices, accessories and fixtures maintained by MES daily except sunday and Gazetted holidays complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. This item covers only cost of labour for attending complaint and replacement of old material. 2. Item to be replaced under this item shall be measured & paid seperatly 'as supply only' under respective items of this schedule 3. Complaints noted as '' NO Light'' shall be attended imediately up to 2200 hrs without fail, failing which recovery of Rs.240/ per complaint per day shall be effected from the contractor's dues. 4. Minor items such as PVC wire of any size as per requirement up to 1.0m length, thimbles, electric tape etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this items. 5. The complaints shall be attended & defects shall be rectified within 08 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint slip failing which a penalty @ Rs.120 per complaint per day shall be lavied/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from his dues. In case after checking & attending the defects, if it is not possible to rectfy the defects within 08 hrs ie from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engeer in charge by the contractor/his rep immediately and the Engr-in-chargr is satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will be made on this account. 6. Contracror shall arrange suitable T&P including necessary form work, scoffolding and safety measures to make it functional complete all as specified and directed. 7. Contractor or his rep will report daily at 0900 hrs at complaint cell for collection of complaints from the concerned JE's incharge. 8. Job slip as per sample shall be provided by the contractor free of cost. 9.Labour charges for this item shall not be included under items which includes 'M&L','S&F' in repair',fixing only /Fixing in repair etc in respective item of this Schedule/BOQ.

Supply, laying and drawing in existing concealed PVC rigid surfaces as per existing surfaces or as directed on walls 02 runs of IC x 6.00 sqmm (Main Cable and neutral) and one run of IC x 4.0 sqmm (as earth wire) of stranded copper conductor PVC insulated unsheathed cables of 1100 volts grade conforing to IS : 694 of 1990 complete including connection all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium any type of point wiring (light/fan/socket/power) complete (fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, holders, sockets, light fittings) and deposit the same to MES Store and making good the disturbed surfaces of wall/floors/ceiling etc) complete all as specfied & directed.

M&L for point wiring with 3 x1.5 sqmm (nominal area) FRLS PVC insulated unsheathed and copper conductor cable ( phase ,neutral and earth wire ) in existing concealed conduit /open PVC rigid conduits,earth wire connected to comman earth dolly with and including pressed steel sheet metal sunken box of suitable size for fixing switches/ sockets etc with cover plate 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet for one light /fan /exhaust fan/ circulator fan/ bell /buzzer controlled by one way switch complete all as specified and directed :-

(a) One light/fan/bell point controlled by one way switch 5 amps.

(b) One 3 pin 5 Amps socket outlet point controlled by one way switch on independent board.

M&L for rewinding exhaust of 300mm/450mm sweep of any type & make complete with super enamelled copper wire (HTP) including taking out old winding with appropriate gauge & qunatity, both sides of rewinding locked with high quantity varnish complete inclusion of ball bearing of SKF/NBC make and provisions of new nuts pin all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with G I earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm , buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not 2.25 meter below normal ground level with top edge plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level,connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts,nuts,chuck nuts,and washers made of galvanized ironor steel all as shown in electrial plate no.-3 of SSR Part-1 2009, connected to earthing test point,earth lead protected by medium grade 20 mm bore for watering anf including finnel wire mesh,RCC pit cover and PPC chamber pit with RCC :1:2:4 B-1 (including excavation and earth work ,disposal of surplus soil two a distance not exc.50 mtrs) all as specified and shown on plate No-5 of SSR Part- I, 1991. Note:(a) PCC pit shall be provided at list 500 mm away fron the earth pit not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipe and fittings,junction,elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.
