Earthwork in excavation in foundation trenches or drains i/c dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift upto 1.5 metres I/c getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 metres (a) Loose/soft soil

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth sides of foundation etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm.in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering lead upto 50 metres lift upto 1.5 metre.

Filling in plinth with sandy soil under floors i/c watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.

Sub-Head:-Concrete & RCC Work

P/L cement concrete in foundation and plinth excluding the cost of centering & shuttering (a) 1:4:8 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : (c) 1:1.5:3 ( 1 cement : 1.5coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15 degree landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases up to floor five level excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, with (c) 1:1.5:3 ( 1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Extra for rendering smooth the top of suspended floors, landings and staircases ( treds and risers) with cement mortar 1:2 ( 1 cement : 2 coarse sand ) including a floating coat of neat cement and protecting the surface with a layer of 7.5 cm of earth laid over 15mm of fine sand in case of suspended floor and bricks laid in mud mortar in case of landing and steps including subsequent removal and cleaning of the same.

Providing and Laying damp proof course 50 mm thick with concrete cement (c) 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Sub-Head:-Aluminium work

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door,windows,ventilators shutters and partitions etc.with EPDM rudder/neoprene gasket etc.complete as per the architectural drawing and the directions of the architectural drawing and the directions of engineer-in-charge.(a)with float glass panes of 4mm thickness.

Providing woodwork in frames of doors, windows, celestory windows and other frames wrought, framed and fixed in position (a) Local best quality Teak

Providing and fixing 40 mm thick panelled and glazed shutters for doors ,windows and clerestory windows I/c black enamelled M.S. butt hinges with necessary screws…(a) Local best Teak Wood.

Providing and fixing M.S. sliding bolts bright finished or/and black enamelled with nuts and screws etc. complete…………..

Providing and fixing M.S. Tower bolts (barrel type) with screws etc. complete…………….

Providing & fixing M.S. handles with necessary screws screws etc.complete.

P/F 40x3mm .flat iron hold fast 10cm long I/c fixing to framed with 10 mm dia .bolt nuts and windows plugs and enamelled in c.c. block 30x10x15mm .(I)1:3:6(1cement:3 coarse sand:6 graded stone aggrt.20mm nominal size)

Sub-Head:-Flooring & Finishing work

Providing and laying Vitrified floor tiles in different sizes ( thickness to be specified by manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS. 15622, of approved make, in all colours & shade, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand ), including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc,.complete.

12mm cement plaster 1:3(1cement:3 fine sand)

6 mm c.p to ceiling 1:3(1cement:3fine sand)

Providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Finishing walls with water proof cement paint of approved quality i/c seizing on new work in (two or more coats) to give an even shade

Varnishing (two or more coats ) with superior copal varnish of approved quality I/c sizing on new work

Distempering (two or more coats ) with oil bound washable coat to give an even shsde

10 mm thick marble tiles in risers of steps , skirting , dado walls and pillars laid on 10 mm thick base of cement mortar 1 : 3 ( 1 cement: 3 coarse sand ) laid and jointed with grey cement slurry including rubbing and polishing complete

P/F 75mm to 60mm moulded hand rails in straight lengths complete in Uningthou wood

P/F 75mm to 60mm Uningthou caps turned to match the hand rails and mitred in I/c hand rails screws and dowels( die of caps to be twiced the width of the rails 75mm x 60 mm)

P/F 25mmx25mm Uningthou wood balusters 25mmx25mm square, wrought fixed with ends housed ( square or sply) to hand rail and treads or string complete.
