ANNUAL MAINTAINANCE CONTRACT FOR EOT CRANES AT 2 CORE ZONAL WKSP UNDER GE N PATIALA

Overall preventive maintenance and regular maintenance of electrically operated over head travelling cranes (EOT) double girder type of 15 tonne capacity 02 Nos and 5 tonne capacity 01 No comprising of electric motors for long travel, hoist motion, creeping micro speed and electrical control panels consisting of MCCBs/main switches, step down transformers, contactors, HRC fuses & mechanical wire rope with drum, brake units, gear boxes, oil levels, motor bed ends, electrical control cables etc. throughout the time period of the contract comprising of material, labour and T&P for routine, periodical, preventive maintenance or breakdown repair to make EOT crane functional all time complete all as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Note: (i) All lubricants incl Gear Oil 80W90, Fine quality Grease, spares and Unserviceable parts required for maintenance of cranes will be measured separately however labour work is inclusive in this item. The contractor shall check for any malfunctioning of the cranes during preventive maintenance. Preventive/regular maintenance to be performed for all cranes at least twice in a months, the contractor shall also be liable for maintenance and repair job as per fault/ defect occurrence without any extra cost. (ii) This item includes unlimited call response from contractor. Minor and Major break-down calls shall be attended within 12 hours from the time of intimation and Crane shall be made operational within 24 hours and 72 hours respectively without any extra charge. (iii) The maintenance of crane throughout the contract period shall be responsibility of contractor. Thus contractor should visit the site prior to bidding. (iv) Contractor is required to maintain breakdown/ rectification register duly signed by both parties i e Contractor and OC MR Bay/JCO,s incharge. (v) During checking/ inspection of EOT crane if any part found unserviceable replacement of same to be carried out after confirmation from Engr-in-Charge. (vi) During the visit trademens/workers will check every movable parts physically and tighten the all nuts/bolts and mark them with permanent marker upto the entire satisfaction of JE E&M/Engr-in-Charge. (vii) Contractor is fully responsible for safety of deployed person at site, all necessary tools, plants and safety equipments will be provided by contractor without any extra cost. If any mishappening happens with tradesman it will be sole responsibility of the contractor. (viii) During maintanance if any item found unserviceable which is not catered in the BOQ will be provided by department under schedule B upon intimation from the contractor, however, labour work is inclusive in this item.

Material and labor for Load testing of double girder EOT Gantry cranes of 15 ton capacity at full load capacity including making arrangements of load complete all as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Material and labor for Load testing of Double Girder EOT Gantry crane of 5 ton capacity at full load capacity including making arrangements of load complete all as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Supply only in replacement step down transformer suitable for 15 & 5 ton EOT gantry complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only in replacement brake liners of electro thruster brake assembly for crane of capacity 15 & 5 ton complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only in replacement contactor 3 phase, 415 volts, 30 Amps, type ML 2 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only in replacement contactor 3 phase, 415 volts, 16 Amps, type ML 1 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only in replacement contactor 3 phase, 415 volts, 12 Amps, type ML 0 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only in replacement breaking resister 415 Volts, 3 phase, for 15 HP Motor capacity complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only in replacement breaking resister 415 Volts, 3 phase, for 7.5 HP Motor capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only in replacement limit switch, 40 amps rating with one NO & one NC for long travel & cross travel complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only in replacement limit switch, 40 amps rating with rotary gear of main hoist complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only in replacement wheel bearing size 6207 after taking down unserviceable / worn-out wheel bearing as existing at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only in replacement variable speed drive in weather proof sheet metal enclosure as per existing make and model suitable for electric operated crane 15 ton capacity of 18 HP crane installed at site to control cross travel speed and making necessary connections including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing wheel bearing size 6207 after taking down unserviceable / worn-out wheel bearing as existing at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for taking out burnt motor 0.5 HP and rewinding of motor capacity 0.5 HP with super enameled copper conductor as per existing weight, size and design etc including varnishing baking and testing after taking down unserviceable / wornout winding of flame proof / non flame proof motor mounted on rail complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Rate for transportation of the motor to the raputated workshop and bring back to site after repair is deemed to be included in quoted rate of the schedule.

Supply only in replacement control cable, 1.5 sq mm 4 core, multistranded copper conductor, unarmoured, 1100 volt grade,FRLSH PVC insulated PVC sheathed with supporting steel/GI wire for fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only in replacement control cable, 2.5 sq mm 4 core, multistranded copper conductor, unarmoured, 1100 volt grade,FRLSH PVC insulated PVC sheathed with supporting steel/GI wire for fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only in replacement control cable, 1.5 sq mm 16 core, multistranded copper conductor, unarmoured, 1100 volt grade,FRLSH PVC insulated PVC sheathed with supporting steel/GI wire for fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only steel wire rope 12 mm dia with hemp core rope made in 6x36 pattern length of existing make & specification suitable for 5 ton capacity gantry fixed with suitable size 'D' clamp, nuts, bolts and washers after taking down unserviceable / worn out/ damaged rope as existing at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only steel wire rope 22 mm dia with hemp core rope made in 6x36 pattern length of existing make & specification suitable for 15 ton capacity gantry fixed with suitable size 'D' clamp, nuts, bolts and washers after taking down unserviceable / worn out/ damaged rope as existing at site complete all as specified and directed

Supply only transformer oil all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only fine quality grease (all purpose) over the moving parts/rail/gears of EOT cranes all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only of gear oil 80W90 all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for painting of EOT crane 15 Ton incl 2 Nos of girders, electric control panel and all accessories with synthetic enamel paint of existing colour complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for dismantling of unserviceable rotating shaft & keyways from travelling crab and transporting to & fro to workshop for checking & repairing and making new keyways including inserting new key as per existing/site requirement for fully making functional of EOT crane complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
