Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work in all kinds of soil such as spade work,pick work,jumper work, blasting work, chieselling work, Kankar, mooram singles including decomposed in soft/hard work,chieselling/ wedging out of hard and soft rocks where blasting is prohibited, in saturated soil including bailing out the watering, by cutting in slopes where ever required, and stacking the excavated materials not more than 3.00 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundtion and sides of trenches and above the laid pipes etc. consolidating in each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil in all leads and lifts. After disposal, the surface shall be neatly dressed and levelled and shoring to its original shape complete in all respect, including all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction of Engieer-in-Charge.(Pick work = 70% Jumper Work = 30%). Restoration of metalled surface to its original condition shall be paid for separately.

Main Balancing Reservior and Sector Reserviors:- Survey , Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams. and RCC (1:2:4) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. C/O Water Treatment Plant:-The scope of work includes the Survey , designing ,construction of 1.40 MLD water capacity water treatment plant capable to treat the raw water 1.40 MLD for clear water capacity water treatment plant capable to treat the raw water 1.40 MLD for the quality specified in the basic design data to produce clear water as per the requirements of latest CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment (chapter 7) and as specified in basic design data. The CPHEEO water manual on water supply include the , Cascade aerators, Raw water tank,tube settler, Parshall Flume, alum and lime solution mixing tank and dozing arrangement, flash mixer, mechanical clariflocculator with S.S. assembly, ,rapid sand filter complete including filter media with back wash including disposal arrangements, clear water tank complete,including all works pertaining to it. Rate of filteration should be kept in between 4.8 to 5 m/hr. But with the inlet and outlet control arrangements designed to permit 100% overload for emergent occassions. also plant building for housing chemical store, water testing laboratory, plant office, toilet, pumps, pump house, water testing piping, valves, mechanical/electrical equipment, electric wiring and panel boards drainage sanitation, interconnecting paths, site development up to a minimum of 3 mtr from edge of each unit and fencing as per design parameters and specification. (Refer Vol-II-Technical specification & Vol-III, Data sheet No. 3).
The components/units mentioned/proposed above are tentative and the WTP 1.40 M.L.D.shall comprise of but not limited to above arrangements/methodology The final decision regarding the components shall be made at the time of finalisation of the design drawings. A well-equipped laboratory of appropriate size for water testing at Hobardi shall be provided as per clause 15.6 of CPHEEO of water Supply & treatment. WTP shall be designed as per the specifications mentioned in Vol-2, Part-3 and CPHEEO Manual, if anything found contrary, then CPHEEO Manual shall be followed the same shall be to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The firm shall submit the detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawings (5 copies or as decided by Engineer-in-charge) for each component of treatment plant, which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. The designs & drawings of the mechanical electrical equipment and wiring etc. along with manufactures specifications/design also be submitted for approval to the department.
Thrust Blocks:- Construction of Thrust Block for Rising main of Booster 1st & 2nd phase of requried sizes (Refer Vol-II-Technical specification & Vol-III, Data sheet No. 5).

DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Excavation in foundation trenches etc. for pipes and pits for other civil structures upto all depths in all kind of soil such as spade work,pick work,jumper work, blasting work, chieselling work, Kankar, mooram singles including decomposed in soft/hard work,chieselling/ wedging out of hard and soft rocks where blasting is prohibited, in saturated soil including bailing out the watering, by cutting in slopes where ever required, and stacking the excavated materials not more than 3.00 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundtion and sides of trenches and above the laid pipes etc. consolidating in each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil in all leads and lifts. After disposal, the surface shall be neatly dressed and levelled and shoring to its original shape complete in all respect, including all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction of Engieer-in-Charge.(Pick work = 70% Jumper Work = 30%) Restoration of metalled surface to its original condition shall be paid for separately.
Providing Laying, jointing and commissioning of G.I. pipe screwed socketted of approved make/rate contract of DGS & D/HP Government confirming to IS: 1239-2004 (with upto date ammendments)of approved make, as per dimensions, mentioned below in a random length of 4 to7 meters. AUTOMATION OF ENTIRE SYSTEM : The tenderer/firm shall provide proposal for automation which comprises of (i) 1 Intake arrangement (ii) 1 Nos Pump houses (iii) 2 Nos Main Balancing Reservoir (iv) 23 Nos Under ground Storage Reservoirs/Collection tanks (v) WTP and disifection system . (vi) Providing and fixing various actuated valves of relevent class and dia as per relevant Data Sheet and technical specification shall be provided in all storage reservoirs at outlets and shall be automated in such a way that these are automattically operated at pre fixed hours/ time or any other logic decided by the department and operated from main SCADA centre at left Bank of Hobardi Khad Pump house. Electromagnetic flow meters of approved makes shall be provided at each storage reservoir outlets and its output in the shape of total quantum of water delivered in a hour day and month shall be generated at main control station. GSM based devices shall be installed at each tank location, which shall send massages through SCADA station at remote access location at sub division office Chowari. This data transmission system at each tank consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system modle communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. At each tank locations controlling devices shall be installed with water meter sensors, flow transmitters, level transmitters in each tank. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The firm has to submit detailed automation proposal incorporating all the hardware involved owing to above mentioned scope in the technical bid. The detailed automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from CE Dharamshala . Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA. The makes of Sluice valves shall be Kirloskar/Leader/KSB. The makes for Electrical actuators for automatic valves shall be Marsh/Auma/Rotex. The make for PLC shall be Siemens/Allen Bradly. The makes for Ultra Sonic level sensers shall be ABB/Siemens/E&H/Fobes Marshal. The makes for EM Flow meters shall be of Krohne Marshall/Siemens/ABB/SBEM/George Fishers/E&H.To automised the entire scheme up to junction points of all storage tanks and in data sheet no 9 &10 (Decision for finalisation of proposal lies with the department without assigning any reason) Refer Vol-II Technical specification & Data sheet No.:-13)
GASEOUS CHLORINATION:- Supplying,errection and commissioning of gaseous chlorination plant at Main Storage Tank above Village Lanoh of phase-1st & Above Bakloh Cantt. of phase-2nd. complete in all respect having chlorinator capable to deliver 0-2500 gm/hr of chlorine gas along with 2 No sets of 1W+1S Booster pump set of approved make with electric motor and 2 No sets of 1W+1S water piping from water main to booster pump . It shall also consist of chlorine gas cylinder 100 Kg capacity duly approved by CCE Nagpur and filled with chlorine gas 1 No at each along with chlorine analyzer to indicate chlorine contant level in the chlorinated water to supply. The contractor/firm shall also supply accessories/spares such as Multipurpose cylinder key--1No,lead washers-6No,Ejector Gasket-2sets,Hose Clips-4No,Ammonia Bottle-50ml-1No alongwith safety items covering chlorine leak emergency kit, self contained breathing apparatus, Eye-shower for each unit complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.(Refer Data Sheet No:-14 for further details.)
