OPERATION, WATCH & WARD OF B.P.Stn. IN TILAK NAGAR CONSTITUENCY.

Operation, watch and ward of all (E&M) equipment installed in various Clear Water Booster Pumping Stations (BPSs), which includes Motor pump-sets, electric control panels, valves, and other auxiliary components with different capacities. To ensure continuous and efficient operations during designated supply hours, two suitably experienced workers are to be deployed at each BPS on break-duty shifts. These workers shall be responsible not only for operating the systems but also for routine monitoring and minor upkeep of the installed infrastructure. The assigned tasks under this job include the following: • Supervision and routine operation of motors, pump sets, and associated electrical & mechanical systems. • Minor electrical works and upkeep maintenance of installed infrastructure. • Replacement of asbestos graphite packing in pumps/valves, servicing and adjustment of valves. • Replacement/maintenance of Kit-Kats, tube lights, bulbs, switches, sockets, and fuse links etc. • Correction of phase sequence if required and attending exposed wiring/components. • Maintaining of operational log books and recording daily activities and abnormalities. • Cleaning and housekeeping of pump house premises to maintain safe and hygienic conditions. This work is to be carried out at the following booster pumping station sites: 1. 288 S.T., Tilaknagar 2. GG-III, Vikaspuri 3. G-Block, Vikaspuri. 4. Major Bhupinder Singh Nagar 5. Pocket A and B, VikasPuri. NOTE: All spares and consumables required for minor maintenance shall be provided by the department. Work is to be carried out as per standard practice and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Total no. of staff deployed: 10 Nos. (Un-Skilled worker: 1 Nos & Semi-Skilled Worker: 1 Nos in each shift at each site). Period: 90 Days x 3 Shift = 270 Shifts
