Strengthening and renewal of 2 roads in Annur Block, Coimbatore district under MGSMT 22-23

1.Strengthening of the road from Sengalipalayam to Onnipalayam Road Km 0/0 - 1/430

Clearing the scrub jungle by uprooting including all cutting charges and disposing of the products and clearing as directed by departmental officers including all incidental charges etc. complete.

Excavation in soil using Hydraulic Excavator and Tippers with disposal upto 1000m Excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers. Trimming bottom and side slopes , in accordance with requirements of lines grades and cross - section , and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m asb per Technical specification clause 302.3

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Road way Cutting Construction of embankment using tractor with grader with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per technical specification clause 301.5 Filing with cut Earth

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulder with approved material obtained rom borrow pits with all lifts and leads. Transporting to site ,spreading , grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of tables 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical specification clause 303.1 (using Borrow pit Earth)

Providing and laying including cost and conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction at Optimum moisture content and hire fuel charges for powerroller, watersprinkler and all other incidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing dangerlights etc. comp for base-course and side berms Km 0/0-1/0

Picking 5cm to 10cm old metalled and BT surface and sectioning, hand packing metal to camber as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.7 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Applying TACK COAT over Primed WBM surface at 2.5Kg of RS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. Comp.

Providing and laying Bituminious concrete which shall consists of construction of a single course binder /wearing corse on a previosly prepared Bituminousbase to the requirements of the specification using 60/70 grade bitumen as per MorRTH specificaton CI.508. Km 0/0 - 1/0

Road Marking by providing and laying of hot applied Thermoplastic Compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Provision of 1 nos. rumble strips covered with premix bituminous carpet, 15-20 mm high at centre, 250 mm wide placed at 1 m centre-to-centre at approved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of road marking paint.

Providing and Fixing reflective road studs of category A raised pavement markers made out of Poly carbonate / methyl methercrylate / ABS moulded body confirming to ASTM D 788 and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromically values conforming to ASTM D428. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW/NH. 33023/10*97- DO .III dt 11.06.97.The height, width and length shall not be less than 15 mm , 90 mm and 100 mm and with minimum re4flective area of 13 sq.cm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/-5 degree . Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in Table 2 of sais MORTH circular . The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, ( of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/-2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500Kgf . Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturers recommandation and complete as directed by the engineer. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280 and confirming to IRC 35-2015 guidelines and MORTH specification 804 etc complete

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under PMGSY including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRCSP- 20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost

2.Renewal of the road from Annur - Othimalai Road to Kanuvakkarai Road (OHT)Km 0/0 - 2/265

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes ,scrubs,saplings and trees of girths upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlie and disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm thickness as per technical specification clause 201. etc. comp.

Applying tack coat over BT/WBM surface (not treated with primer) using 3Kg of bituminous emulsion per 10 Sqm. including cost of bituminous emulsion which will be supplied departmentally at section stores and cost of which will be recovered at the rates as per special conditions appended herewith including conveyance of bituminous emulsion to actual work spot handling charges including labour charges for brushing, cleaning and preparing the surface for laying the tack coat and labour and machinery charges for applying the required quantity of bituminous emulsion including hire, fuel and running charges for all tools and plants employed for the work including all other incidental charges such as barricading and providing danger lights, flags etc., complete as per standard specification.

Providing and laying open graded premix carpet of 20mm compacted thick using 0.18cum of 13.20mm IRC size HBG machine crushed chips and 0.09 cum of 11.20mm IRC HBG machine crushed chips with 13.432Kg of bitumen and 1.168 Kg of Plastic waste for 10 Sqm. of premix carpet including laying of seal coat 'A' over the premix carpet using 0.09 cum of 6.70mm IRC size HBG machine crushed chips with 9.80Kg of bitumen per 10 Sqm. including cost and conveyance of chips and stacking them to departmental gauge for pre-measurements including cost of bitumen which will be supplied by the department at departmental section stores and its cost will be recovered as per special condition appended including heating the bitumen and metal mixing the materials in mini hot mix plant for premix carpet including spreading the same and finishing and compacting the same by power rolling to the specified lines and grades including all labour charges application of bitumen for seal coat over the premix carpet and spreading the seal coat and power roller rolling separately as per MOST specification 509 and 513 (III revision) including all labour charges hire and fuel charges for mini hot mix plant, power roller 80-100KN capacity and all other tools and plants employed therefor etc.com. km 0/0-1/0
