Disconnecting the incoming and out going electric cable from both sides of burnt/defective transformer of any make and any type, upto 400 KVA including all acessories, from pole (pole mounted), plinth (plinth mounted ) by any means like mechnical pully or crane including loading into road vehicle, transporting from site to workshop for repair, draining out the transformer oil, dismantling complete and taking out the core assembly and removing burnt out winding, dehydrating the core assembly, reassembling transformer after rewinding and repair, replacement of complete gasket set, refilling the oil duly filtered/ dehydrated, topping up with new oil, carrying out routine & bring back to site after repair, unloading at site including re-installation connections, testing and commissioning complete as per site requirement all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note:- (i) Replacement of major spare parts copper wire shall be measured and paid separetely under respective item of BoQ. (ii) If any damage to transformer/OH line/ cables occur during handling, transportation or during hosting/ lifting the same shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

M & L for rewinding of HT/LT coils of transformer with super enamelled best quality copper winding wire of appropriate gauge alongwith allied material complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for rewinding of HT/LT coils of transformer with cotton braided Aluminium winding wire/strip of appropriate gauge alongwith allied material complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of Transformer HT bushes 11 KV with rod assembly of metallic alloy (brass gun metal) of suitable dia and length with nuts , washers, packing, oil sealing bushes for transformer of following capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F cork sheet gasket( for top cover) of transformer of any capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dehydration and filtration of existing transformer oil for transformer of any capacity using centrifugal plant to eliminate foreign particles and to improve di-electric strength not less than 60 KV for 1 minute in 2.5 mm electrode gap as per relevant IS dielectric strength complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge. Note :- Transformer oil required for topping up shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BOQ.

Supply and filling of fresh transformer oil confirming to IS 335 having di electric strength not less than 60 KV in existing transformers installed at different locations complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of breather assembly transparent plastic body with top and bottom portion pressed with metallic cover, filled with silica gel blue in colour and suitable for fixing on existing pipe of size 15/20/25 mm dia with suitable reducer/ connectors etc as per site requirement/ capacity of transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of modification if any required to fix on existing MS pipe.

Supply and fixing in replacement of defective gun metal stop cock/gate valve 25mm dia and plug fixed to drain pipe of transformer of any capacity including testing against leakage to the entire satisfaction complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of transformer temperature gauge 110mm dia heavy duty 0-100 degre centigrade with thermostat built in switch complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning in replacement of air release plugs suitable for existing transformer of any size and any make complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, laying, jointing testing and commissioning in replacement of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 11 KV grade of cross-sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3 core, IS 7098 marked, suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system , laid in trenches / ducts / encased in GI pipe / fixed to pole complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation and earth work, brick protection, sand cushioning and GI protection pipes shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or laying underground cable etc. in soft/loose soil, & getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge .

S&F un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV, type-2, with flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm laid flat length of cover across the length of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for sand cushioning with dry and clean locally available sand for underground cable 8cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying cable and punned to 18 cm after laying of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Supply, fabricating, fixing structural mild steel channel angle iron, flat iron and brackets etc for fabrication of cross arms, bracings, supports, D- clamps stiffners, eye hooks, bolts, pole clamp and back plates incl nuts, bolts and washers welding, banding cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Unexposed surface of steel sections shall be applied one coat of red oxide primer and exposed surface shall be applied one finishing coat of aluminium over a coat of red oxide primer. cost of the same is included in the quoted rate of this item.

M & L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation & mass concrete including necessary form work and fair finishing to exposed surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply, install, testing and commissioning in replacement of 11 KV outdoor type gang operated air break switch triple pole suitable for horizontal mounting complete with explusion fuses, GI operating rod of suitable length for operating mechanism worked from groundlevel complete in both OFF and ON position, for current rating upto 400 Amp, each pole consist of galvanised steel base HT insulators as per BSS/ISS non ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arcing horns of adequate section to brake magnetizing current of the transformers. All ferrous parts hot dipped galvanised and non ferrous parts heavelly tinned to withstand weather all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Fixing in replacement pin type insulator of 11 KV 150mm height, 150mm dia including necessary hardware all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Fixing in replacement disc type insulator, 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white brown or green single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductor working pressure 11 KV including necessary hardware all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour only for laying one layer of bricks/ cable protection cover of any size (Old brick reused obtained from item taking out cable against item No 31 here-in-after for cable protection, laid flat in trenches over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable under ground HT XLPE/PVC cable of any size from trenches/ wall/roof/road/pipe/pole including taking out of brick layer / cable covers from trenches etc including serviceable brick/ cable cover stack for reuse and relaying the same after detacting the fault complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BoQ.

S&F in replacement for GI pipe light grade laid in trenches / fixed to pole / wall for cable protection of size 50 mm complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement GI pipe light grade laid in trenches / fixed to pole / wall for cable protection of size 80 mm complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for earthing complete with Galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL connected to GI earthing strip of size 32 x 6mm flat by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of Galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note: The unit rate shall be deemed to include for excavation & earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, MS angle iron frame 40x40x6mm, RCC 1:2:4, Type B-1 cover 40mm thick reinforced with 8mm dia CTD bars @ 75mm c/c both ways, MS handle 12mm dia, CI funnel and wire mesh, GI watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade for watering, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia, earthing lead upto 7.5m
