M&L for excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m deep for foundation of poles/stay/cable etc including getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in depth, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for removing excavated material n.exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to cable with dry fine sand in trenches 8 cm below the cable and 15 cm above the cable after laying, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bricks laid in trenches flat with width equal to length of brick for cable protection well burnt sub class 'B' laid across the cable complete all ad specified and directed.

Supply & fix Rigid non-metallic PVC conduit of size 20 mm dia, exclusive of boxes (junction/terminal) but inclusive of all tees, bends, elbows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc complete all as specified and directed at site.

Supply and laying GI tubing light grade 80mm dia with all fitting laid in trenches or fixed on wall along pole complete for protection of electric cable/strip including dismantling of old pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying GI tubing light grade 50mm dia with all fitting laid in trenches or fixed on wall along pole complete for protection of electric cable/strip including dismantling of old pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying GI tubing light grade 40mm dia with all fitting laid in trenches or fixed on wall along pole complete for protection of electric cable/strip including dismantling of old pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix junction box/looping box of size 250x250x200 mm made of MS Sheet 1.6mm thick, front door openable with fixing screw painting with two coats of synthetic enamel power coated paint over a coat or red oxide including aluminiumn bus bar 4 Nos of size 25x3mm mounted on epoxy based post insulators and drilled holes for connection including 01 Nos MCBs 06 amps including magnetic lock system all as required and fixed to poles using MS strip of size 32x6mm and nuts,bolts & washer of required size all as required at site or directed by Engr-in-charges.Note : The cost of thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is incl in quoted rate for connection for cable and no extra payment will be made for it.

Supply and fixing in repair 2.5 Sqmm three core PVC insulated flexibale copper conductor wire for street/security light connection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised cast iron earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6.0mm thick busied directly in ground less than 3.0m deep below normal ground level as earth electrode with top edge of the earth plate not less than 2.25mtr below ground level using GI strip 25×4 mm dia as earth continuity conductor connected to earth plate by means of welding, GI thimbles, nuts, bolts & washers all as directed including providing earth wire protection pipe GI light grade15mm dia from earth plate to main switch board/panel, watering pipe 20mm dia with wire mesh and funnel at top, earth pit and RCC pit cover with handle of angle iron frame of size 40 x 40 x 6mm in PCC 1:3:6 adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt and kalmi shora all around the earth plate, earth work in any type of soil remaining surplus excavated material all as required at site and specified in EP No 3 of SSR part I 2009 or directed by Engineer-in-charge and incl testing on completion. (i) Main earthing lead from earth plate electrode to test point up to length of 7.5 meters length shall deem to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item . (ii) GI protection pipe & earthing lead beyond 7.5 meter shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch A part-IV (Sec-I) . (iii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department .
