REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF LIGHTENING PROTECTION SYSTEM EARTHING PITS AND ALLIED WORKS AT AF STN BAMRAULI UNDER GE AF BAMRAULI

Carrying out earth resistence test with digital earth resistence tester at various location in Airforce station Bamrauli,taking reading & noting down in register in the presence of user including tightening of nuts bolts, pouring of water in earth pit to reduce the resitivity of the soil, cleaning around the earth pit,proper checking of earth continuty conductor, replacement of epoxy based insulator,aluminium strip, copper strip, GI strip, pouring of chemical to enhace the conductivity of the soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note- (i) Material used in repair/maint of earthing will be measured & Paid saperately Like Nutsbolts,insulator,strip,chemical.(ii) Earth record register to be provided by contractor.(iii) Testing to be carried out by skilled electrician.(iv) Earth result to be written with synthatic enamel paint on display board near earth pit.(v) Earth record register to be produced before Engr-In-Charge for checking at regular interval.(vi) Required T&P will be provided by contractor for carrying out earth resistence test.

Taking down corroded Earth continuity GI/Aluminium/Copper strip fixed to wall on batten or any other indicated situation with porcelain vitreous white seperators, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing of Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing of Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20x3 mm dia Copper strip, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing of Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32x6 mm dia GI strip, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing of Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 25x3 mm dia aluminium strip, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old Unserviceable air termination rod of any size and capacity, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Refixing of serviceable Air termination rod as obatin from Item No 7 above including new threading and grinding of tip of air termination, complete as per site requirnment and directed by Engr in charge.

S&F for Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and pouring earth resistance lowering gel to reduce the earth resitsivity without excavating the soil, high viscosity in nature to be absorved by soil which creates bondage between electrode and soil, 6 kg contain in bucket, complete all as specified and directed. Make Acculec power or other equivelent as approved.
